Daniel Garb was asking Pardew about it a few weeks ago and they were all very tight-lipped about his (lack of) progress. Has had a few setbacks and hasn't stepped on a training pitch for a few months apparently. Hopefully we get a positive update soon, but it seems he'll still be out for a while. Serie A teams might be interested in Brillante. Empoli would be great since it is right next to Florence. Quote:Hellas Verona and Empoli are both interested in taking Australia international Josh Brillante off Fiorentina.
The midfielder has made just two Serie A appearances all season for a combined total of 39 minutes of football.
It’s not enough for the 21-year-old to find his feet and the Viola are therefore open to loaning him out in January.
Hellas Verona and Empoli seem the likely candidates, according to the Corriere Fiorentino newspaper. http://www.football-italia.net/60513/brillante-sought-after-serie

1:24, Giannou with a flick before the assist. A lot still needs to be done after his pass but still good with good movement.

if he plays a couple games does alright and there's an injury for the NT (sainsbury isnt 100%) there is a slim chance that williams might get a sneaky call.

Forgot Herd. He's on the bench. Surely this is the last match for them before they fly to OZ?

Alex Cisak with also with a full match, and another clean sheet.
Kilkenny on in the 86th minute.
Chris Herd and Bailey Wright riding the pine.

Of course it's Edwards who plays for Reading and ex Hoffenheim Williams. Starting to sound like my mate who thinks some bloke once played for Hannover but certainly didn't :D

Seems Lazio have another Aussie in their youth team! I can't quite hear the name clearly, but it sounds like Mile Popovic. Not listed on transfermarkt or anywhere else I could find. Unsure if he's claiming allegiance to some Balkan country, but with that accent he's not fooling me!

Whilst moving to a big(gish) team with an already proven LB is a questionable decision, you'd think he'd have more opportunities given Pocognoli has missed a fair bit of football this season. Is a very good young player. Time for Jason to find a new home.

Unsure if he's claiming allegiance to some Balkan country, but with that accent he's not fooling me! Good find, His name is Mili Popovic from what I could get. He is a 17 year old striker and was signed last August (2013), came off the bench once this season, most likely in a friendly. Quote:National Students, Popovic reinforcement for the new coach Inzaghi 08/26/2013 1:46 New purchase for the youth sector, this time is Mr. Inzaghi to receive a gift from the management biancoceleste. Lazio have bought Popovic, Australian striker class '97. The tip is training already with the National Students, left a good impression from the first workout. Continues the search for talent abroad by the ds Tare, that in the summer he had embellished the Spring of Bollini with grafts Elez, Seck, ROKAVEC, Borecki and Oikonomidis. http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/lazio/?action=read&idnet=bGFsYXppb3NpYW1vbm9pLml0LTM2ODgzQuote:LAZIO SPRING Warriors, Dovidio (Pasqualone), Silvagni, Pollace, Seck (Germoni), ROKAVEC, Oikonomidis (Capuano), Murgia (Popovic), Palombi, Rossi.
