Three Aussies in one Eerste Divisie game too, Dougall and Quinn playing full games vs Marveggio who came on in the 72nd minute. I can't wait until Kenny Dougall releases his greatest glam rock hits from the 80's

Interesting that Davidson played in the U21s. Any match reports?

Hasn't changed since joining them, still slow on the ball and lacks any real pace getting forward. Let's hope he becomes a tougher, hard nutted LB, because as far as his ability on the ball, if I was a top flight coach I would be worried every time he gets it. Does not look comfortable and most LB's these days are preferred to overlap and get forward.
Edited by highkick05: 9/2/2015 04:07:09 PM somebody here hates davo. you can doubt his current ability all you want -and that's fair enough- but to say he hasnt improved at all, let alone dramatically, since his shift to the EPL is a bit blind. i was happy with behich as well. i think he is more reliable. even though i would still have played behich, davo surprised me. he wasnt leaking like a sieve. and he was keeping in check with the CB's. Don't hate him Inlahbrah, I was one of his biggest fans in games such as the early NT ones against Ecuador and following ones. Supported him massively, he was quite strong those games, nothing got down the left. But for me he hasn't done enough , seems down in the dumps. Shouldn't have left Heracules, how long will he stay in limbo. I cringe every time he gets receives the ball on his left foot, he's _way_ too predictable going forward, even Wilkshire makes him look ametuer. For me he should stick to being more of a defender and quit getting forward it makes him look shit

Yay, people defending me. Yeah Highkick I normally just post news after it has been Google translated. If you think that one is bad I am sure there are some which are translated from German or Slavic languages which are a lot worse. Anyway Austria returns next weekend and Holland scored in Vienna's last warm-up game. http://kurier.at/sport/fussball/testspiele-die-austria-brachte-sich-gegen-laibach-in-schwung-salzburg-nur-00-gegen-bratislava/112.590.562His contract runs out at the end of the season, it has been reported as if they have been trying to get him to sign over the break but there have been no indications that he is about to sign. The club has 7 contracts expiring (down from 12) this summer with Holland being seen as one of 3 important players who haven't re-signed. http://www.laola1.at/de/fussball/bundesliga/news/zukunft-von-fak-profis-ungewiss/page/104647-32-48---7.html

Burgess apparently recovered from his ankle injury.Seems very early since 11 days a go the Daily Record mentioned he was out for 6 weeks. Hopefully this means it was more just a strain and we don't have another defender with fucked ankles/legs. Quote:On-loan Fulham defender Cameron Burgess could make the Ross County squad for the Scottish Premiership trip to Aberdeen after recovering from an ankle injury. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/aberdeen/309354-aberdeen-v-ross-county-mclean-set-for-dons-debut-against-staggies/

Luongo scored in Swindon's 2-1 loss to Oldham. Sounds like it may have been a decent goal too.

Bailey Wright made his first start in ages and played 90 mins on the left of a back 3 in a 2-0 win away against chesterfield. Big news.
Kilkenny came on in the 89th minute

Shame they lost. Going by the play-by-play Luongo was pushing for a second goal 2 w/ Gk stopping him. Big shame they lost they seem to be losing points.. hope they find some fight Edited by highkick05: 11/2/2015 11:28:17 AM

Both of Oldham's goals came in 1 minute apparently.

On holland hate to say it but Buli 2, Belgium or Holland ha! would be a good next step either of those or maybe even Portugal would be good. On Luongo has anyone ever gone from league 1 into the starting XI of an EPL side ? Im not sure he could do it but id like to see him skip the Championship and go to the continent before trying his luck in one of the big 4. He is a very adaptable player I could see him doing well in Belgium, France, Turkey, Holland, Portugal or even a bit of a long shot Russia. What makes his goal scoring and assisting more impressive is that Swindon are playing with a back 3 so his role is similar to that of the NT but his defensive responsibility is increased.

I haven't look, but i think it happens many times, especially young English kids ...McManaman went from bottom English champ-ship team to starting for WBA two weeks ago  Wigan Athletic not English league one, but they will be next year

He definitely started at least one Capital Cup game under Redknapp, it went to penalties and he took one and missed, losing the game, but Redknapp praised his performance anyway.
