Anthony Carter (20) seems to have been given a bit of time for Cluj in winter break friendlies. Cluj has been dropped from 2nd to last in the league though after being deducted 24 points for debt to the state and past players. Still have a decent chance to avoid relegation as they are 8 points off safety and in the first half of the season they were 16 points above the relegation zone, do that again and they are safe. Does really limit their chances for making the Europa league again though. Last season they made it in because other teams couldn't get licences from UEFA so there is still a chance. Also 6 out of 18 teams are being relegated in Romania this season.

They probably deserve such acclaims, same for the clubs bit confusing, you ask if it is too far then suggest it isn't? Anyway this is club organised so I think it is fine. Just seems like a cool thing for his wall to congratulate him and the article also says they gave him a congratulatory "FCI certificate" which I am guessing is also to say well done for being one of I am guessing only a few Ingolstadt players to win an international cup which puts the club in a good light. Just giving thoughts an outlet rather than bottling them, seems you had some also

Hrustic scored a free kick for Groningen's youth team on the weekend in a 2-1 loss to Utrecht. Just returned from an injury which he got when he was invited to trian with the first team a few weeks ago. Groningen looks like they will be a safe mid table team. Hopefully he will get a chance near the end of the season when their position is virtually set Quote:On behalf of the Groningen scored Schalke 04 came over Ajdin Hrustic , which again completely from his previously incurred injury is restored.

It took until the 26th minute before FC Groningen had a chance. The Groningen received a free kick awarded by referee Hofstee, after grasping Willem Gootjes . Ajdin Hrustic managed beautifully along the wall to curl, in the goal behind goalkeeper Bob van der Hoek. http://www.fcgonline.nl/index.php/2014-10-27-12-31-17/fc-groningen-a1/3637-fc-groningen-a1-fc-utrecht-a1-1-2-14022015

Shame he got let go by one of the best academy's in Germany though.

If they're not 100% on board and 100% Australian, don't bother converting them, It will only jade our current awesome team who actually take pride in the shirt

Fulham U21s are also playing Chelsea tonight. Some international youth cup with 16 teams from around Europe. Hopefully Taggart is not in the squad and is with the firsts on the weekend instead

BBC wrote:Chris Herd: Wigan loanee returns to Aston Villa for surgery
Midfielder Chris Herd has returned to Aston Villa from his loan spell at Wigan Athletic to have surgery on a medial ligament injury. The 25-year-old was taken off on a stretcher in the Latics' 1-0 win at Reading on Tuesday. The Australian joined Wigan on loan in January until the end of the season and had played three times. "He's been a terrific servant since coming into the club and desperate to play football," said boss Malky Mackay. "Unfortunately he fell on his knee and his medial ligament has snapped and he's going to need surgery. "He is going to have to go back to Aston Villa and leave us."

I do too (as it was the first place I lived in England). So people know what McCormick can do. I would pick him 7 days a week before Taggart atm.

I thought Melb City looked class against this Dnipro team. Mooy really looked like he should be pulling the strings for some Euro team and D. Williams didn't look all that bad either. Of course Koren and Duff didn't make the team appear that bad either , I couldn't tell much difference in quality. Both looked well organised and constructed good movements forward. yep Dnipro came out pretty strong then dropped away quite noticably. I think Williams came on and started making some positive contributions late, think he scored actually ? or was it Koren.. can't quite remember. Very even game that's all I remember

Wilkshire's expected to start. Should be a good match.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

"Unfortunately he fell on his knee and his medial ligament has snapped and he's going to need surgery. "He is going to have to go back to Aston Villa and leave us." This lad - my word. He draws so many fans over there - he clearly leaves an impression, when he does feature. But his injury record... it's getting very much like fellow West-Aussie, Rhys Williams, sadly. They're only a year apart in age too. This better be a successful procedure and a world-class recovery allowed for. Atleast being in or abouts the NT set-up, under Ange's regime, may be of additional benefit to us. Ange is a keen observer and well arguably a more pro-active and passionate observer of these lads than all the Foreign regimes of recent era. He didn't mince words about Rogic and got into a brief fight with Neil Lennon, IIRC?! He and the Socceroos staff have apparently a top-class medical department and sports science advice, so if Herd can return to Australia for a period as part of his recovery and be given aid and advice here too, perhaps he may be better for it? Clear head and good break too - especially with the problems that Bent stuff seemed to cause for a lil while. We're glad he's even still playing really? I just hope blokes like he and Williams don't end up early retirees by their late 20s/early 30s - If anything, hopefully, they can receive a second wind in latter career, like Harry Kewell, 'kind-of' did (In Turkey), Craig Moore (A-League) and some others. Williams especially is a good 'technical' player, with some tactical smarts too, and that will stay with him into his 30s, even if he slows down a bit. Herd's strengths seem to most definitely be in his physical game though, so not too sure about him longer term - if he'll even make it to 2018, tbh. Hope I'm wrong. Ryan and Wilkshire starting against Aalborg and Roma respectively in the Europa League.
Taggart and Ryan Williams starting for Fulham U21s against Chelsea in the Quarter-Final of the inaugural Premier League International Cup.
Lennox with a clean sheet for QPR U21s.

Wilks on a yellow too. Brugge up 2:0 away already. Would love to see Brugge get Everton or Liverpool in the next round. Hope all get through. I bet a Liverpool derby will happen in Europe.
