Stop being an ignorant fool. Matías Vecino, who is also on loan from Fiorentina is keeping Brillante out of the side at the moment. Josh was never going to get a start this season at Empoli, that is why his loan is 18-months long, as this is a long-term project. Not just some short term 6-month stint.

When Vecino return to Fiorentina at the end of this season, I am sure that Josh will see more gametime at the start of next season. Empoli are safe from relegation and Josh will get his chance in a Big-5 league. Hopefully by this time next year, we will be talking about him as a regualar Serie A player and Socceroo all at the age of 23 years old.
