Langerak concedes. Very nice goal for the unmarked man in the box. Frustrating that the defence left Mitch alone there.

Stuff up on half way line sees Firmino run 40m and lift it over Langerak's head.

Back to A-League for Langerak. He's just not Euro standard.

Langerak needs a full time gig in Germany elsewhere. 27 this year and fewer than 50 pro games.

In all seriousness, I do rate Langerak as a really good prospect. I think if he pulls his socks up, he could potentially be in goals in 2018 (although I prefer Ryan's distribution to his). But he needs to leave Dortmund ASAP, as this is now risible. The fact that he spends so much time on the bench is probably somewhat psychologically debilitating too. Initially, he could look forward to the (what seemed to be) the realistic prospect of eventual game time at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Now he can't look forward to that.
Essentially, what he needs is to go to a club, preferably within the Holy Trinity. Given he hasn't done too much recently, chances are that it will be a club that isn't doing brilliantly. Langerak then needs to be absolute hero. If he does that he'll regain the form he had a few years ago when we were all licking our lips at the prospect of such a gifted keeper. And he'll be a reasonable chance at being Australia's keeper.

Dissappointed with some of the decision making at Swindon. poor 72% posession look like a bunch of clueless spastics in front of goal Edited by highkick05: 8/4/2015 06:15:58 AM

Hoffenheim go really close again but more a missed shot than a Langerak save but good positioning. Extra time beckons.

Zwolle Twente 1:1 105min in cup. No Sains. They do a bit of rotation at the back anyway, don't they? Nothing too alarming here, right?

Not too alarming because he is still thereabouts if not there (on the bench). That being said, it is his second consecutive game on the bench but he has been in/out a bit with injury recently. Zwolle progress to the final for the 2nd year in a row through a shootout, will play 11th-placed Groningen or 14th-placed Excelsior in what looks like a very winnable final in a month's time.

Not sure if mentioned but:
Federici played 90 mins in 1-1 draw and conceded a penalty Jackson Irvine played 82 minutes in 1-0 win helping them pull away from relegation with 13 points in their last 5 games Similarly, McDonald played 90 mins and scored a goal in a 5-0 win for motherwell which is their third win in a row coinciding with his return to the club Holland played 90 mins in 2-0 cup win Luongo played 90 mins in 3-0 loss in crucial top of the table clash. Not good.
And Ikonomidis seems to be banging his sister, but thats ok cos she's Winnie Cooper.

:? They had a lot of possession that game, teams have worked them out. Seems they have a lot of 'solo' type players there also that continue to try and ignore Luongo for large parts of the game. Couple of africans they have are quite good. Can't figure this team out

Doh goal down, Torp edo are on 10 men though after a brain snap from one of their defenders. Stupid thing is they went to practically a 5 man back line and Franjic just watched that ball rainbow over his head directly in front o the box. tapped in after it fell... He could have rushed the man on the baseline was only a couple metres away... :( he has these day dream moments wee make that 2 down, penalty awarded Edited by highkick05: 9/4/2015 04:36:24 AM
