It's not that shocking - he's in charge of a development side with an average age of 21 and no visa players, playing against 'senior' sides with 3-4 visa players. He's not expected to finish high in the league. His performance has been regarded highly enough in India that he has offers from 3-4 other I-League sidess for next season, as well as an expanded duty offer from the Indian Federation to coach various national youth teams (u18, etc.) Cheers, I realised that it was a youth side, but I wasn't sure if his results were acceptable. That sounds really positive for both him and Indian football.

Gee there are some idiots on this forum...
For the record, Harry Kewell played and scored in the '98 WC campaign, a full 9 years before Germany '06. He also played the '02 campaign when the team was pelted with rotten fruit at Montevideo Airport.
'97 Confederations Cup when we made the final...scored against England in '93...
England chased him from the time he was 16 but he was always going to play for Australia, which he did, aged 17.
True, he missed a few friendlies and the Confeds Cups in '99 and '01 due to Leeds committments, but the club was flying at that stage and I never begrudged him those absences as he was always there for us when it mattered.
With two WCs and playing in 5 WC qualifying campaigns, the guy holds a record in this country. A bit of respect please.

Australian left-back Craig Goodwin has returned to his homeland following a trial with Reading.
Adelaide-born Goodwin, 21, had been training with Royals for the past four weeks, and played in their 3-1 friendly win over QPR on Monday.
Reading have decided against the option of signing the player, although manager Nigel Adkins refused to rule out a move in the future.
He said: “Craig has gone back to Australia now.
“He did really well when he was here with us and his character and attitude was top drawer.
“You never say never but he’s gone back now.”
Goodwin returns to his side Newcastle Jets, where he is halfway through a two-year deal.
He said he thoroughly enjoyed his time with Royals.
“It was a fantastic experience,” said Goodwin.
“The training sessions were of a very high quality and the speed of the game was a lot faster.
“Getting a taste for what football is like in arguably the best league in the world has only increased my ambition and desire to one day reach that level.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and the feedback I got from the manger, the coaches and the players was all very positive.
“Hopefully the experience I’ve gained over there I can bring back to the Jets and put into practice for the season ahead.”
Jets' chief exectutive Robbie Middleby added: “From the correspondence I’ve had with Reading’s director of football Nick Hammond, they were very impressed with Craig’s technical ability as well as his character and attitude to training.
“They were full of praise for the way that Craig performed during his time in the UK and they’ve told us they will continue to monitor his progress very closely over the next 12 months.”
Royals are set to be short of left-backs next season with veteran Ian Harte expected to leave, while Nicky Shorey has just a year remaining on his current deal. The future of Joseph Mills is also uncertain.
The 23-year-old left-back was signed by former manager Brian McDermott from Southampton in 2011, and is coming to the end of a season-long loan with Championship side Burnley.
And he did not feature for the Saints when Adkins was in charge there. http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/readingfc/s/2133519_goodwin_returns_to_australia_after_reading_fc_trial

What is the go with Jason Davidson - I know, I've seen the updates, but STILL struggling to break into the team. It's a worry - kid was on verge of being our NT's #1 LB! But now, as his chances of senior games at his club dries up, so does he drift further from even the NT's squad. Does he need to move on again? Or given he featured earlier in the season and I think he only joined them last year, stick it out? Thank you for your continued work VoR and that too of Damien Davies and GermanRoos. This part of the April Overview caught, my, eye! Quote:...Shane Lowry (Millwall) also served a suspension which coincided with 3 losses for his club. They would like a point from their last game to hopefully avoid the drop. He has managed 3 suspensions in the past few months on the back of 13 yellows!! WELL, WELL! All those CALLING ENDLESSLY for not ONLY his NT call up (I'm included there), BUT ALSO a NT start! TAKE NOTE Could it be, could it be... that this factors into the decision making process? I certainly think it would! Not saying he STILL shouldn't be called up, I think he should, but MAYBE more than a few of us are ONCE A BLOODY GAIN, jumping the gun - jumping the gun on a 23 year old who clearly still has a few things to work on in his game, if he wants to be an international player! It's one bloody thing, playing for hack side Millwall, in hack Championship, two footed hacking players, shoving, breaking ankles, fouls here and there, cards here and there and even suspensions... but at international level, with the gamesmanship and refereeing style in Asia, as too the intensity and high stakes of our games... we couldn't afford to have this kid starting for us, not yet, not if he's too high a risk of being sent off, or conceding a needless penalty or countless fouls. No better way of showing him how he needs to play in Asia than just keeping him on the opposite side of the world

Millwall Survive relegation even though they lost 1-0. Good to see Lowry will be in the championship again next season. Palace in the playoffs, lets hope Jedinak can help get his boys promoted!

Interesting to see Ruka taking the set piece. Ht 1-1. Also just realised that Ruka pressured the opponent into turning the ball over to Mueller who ran through and scored.
