At least he'll be used to playing in the middle east which could be handy for away world cup qualifiers.

I think the competition you face week in week out is weaker than the a-league though, which is the problem. i have no doubt the facilities and training is great

moofa wrote:Taggart apparently to Dundee United, from Scotland sky Interesting move. Probably wouldn't be too bad a move to get used to playing the english style and would help with the transition into Fulhams first team. My opinion of the SPFL has changed the last month or so, it's better than I thought. I still think tactically and technically the A league is better but the SPFL isn't that bad and it's a lot faster than the A League.

The Saudi teams have a good record in the ACL. They get 4 teams in the comp, same as K-league and J-league teams.

It seems that Jedinak demanded too high wages so the deal has fallen through meaning Jedinak will stay at Crystal Palace.

The competition he'll get each week will be far greater than trips to Newcastle and Central Coast. The argument is signing on with a European club vs a Gulf/Middle Eastern club. Europe of course is more favourable however I don't think the Saudi league is the end of the world. Quality is better than our league.

The danger of saying things like the petrol leagues etc is that it implies they are all of the same quality. It is without doubt the Saudis have a better league and nt than the qataris or the UAE.

At least he is openly open to a deal now. Chances are the deal will be sorted out by January.

Antonis and Mabil are both on their respective teams Europa league squad lists. Also unrelated Berbatov signed with PAOK which should make watching any of their Europa league games much more interesting http://www.paokfc.gr/en/news/20150901-i-lista-tis-uefa-gia-tous-omilous/http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2016/clubs/club=75795/index.html

Sainsbury's starting in a friendly against Cambuur.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
