Weekend Round up so far:

EPL:

Adam Federici was an unused sub in Bournemouth's 3-1 away loss to Norwich City
Mile Jedinak was an 80th minute sub in Palace's unfortunate 1-0 home loss to Manchester City with the visitors scoring the winner in the 90th minute.

Championship:

Tommy Oar was not in the squad for Ipswich's 5-1 away loss to Reading. Hopefully this heralds some changes.
Mass Luongo played 73 mins in QPR's 2-1 home loss to Nottingham Forest. When he was subbed, QPR was leading 1-0.
Shane Lowry was not in the Birmingham squad in their 4-2 home win over Bristol City. They are sitting 4th and unbeaten in 5.
Jason Davidson was an unused sub in Huddersfield's 2-0 away loss to Cardiff City.
Rhys Williams remains injured for Middlesbrough who beat MK Dons 2-0 at home and sit third.
Neil Kilkenny and Bailey Wright both played 90 mins for Preston in their 2-1 home loss to Derby County.

Bundesliga:

Robbie Kruse came on at 55 mins to make his debut for Stuttgart in their 2-1 away loss to Hertha Berlin. Langerak remains out injured. They've now lost 4 in a row.
Matt Leckie played 85 mins in Inglostadt's 0-0 home draw with Wolfsburg. They sit 7th.

Eredivisie:

Rostyn Griffiths played 90 mins in Roda's 0-0 home draw with NEC. Juric and De Silva were not in the squad with Juric apparently a late withdrawal with injury.
Trent Sainsbury was an unused sub in PEC Zwolle's 3-0 home win over Excelsior.

SPL:

Tom Rogic played 73 mins in Celtic's 2-1 away loss to Aberdeen. He was quiet in the first half but made a few decisive touches and passes in the second half. He also had a great chance saved in the opening minutes. Aberdeen are now top with a 100% record after 6 games.
Ryan McGowan played 90 mins and Adam Taggart started and played 70 mins in his debut for Dundee United in their 2-1 home loss to Kilmarnock. They've now lost 4 in a row.
Scott McDonald was subbed at half time and Jackson Irvine played 90 mins for opposing teams in Motherwell's 1-1 home draw with Ross County
Jesse Curran was not in the Dundee squad who won 1-0 away to Partick Thistle.

La Liga:

Mat Ryan was out injured in Valencia's 1-0 away win over Sporting Gijon. The keeper was apparently named MOTM.

CSL:

Tim Cahill started and played 69 mins and scored a goal in Shanghai Shenua's 2-1 away win over Guizhou

Croatia:

Tomislav Mrcela was not in the squad for Lokomotiva Zagreb's 4-0 home loss to Dinamo Zagreb

League One:

Ryan Williams started but was subbed off with injury on 29 mins in Barnsley's 4-1 home win over Swindon.
Callum Elder started and played 90 mins at left back for Peterborough in their 5-1 away win over Oldham Athletic. It was their first win in 5 matches.
Shane Cansdell-Sherriff started and played 90 mins in defence in Burton Albion's 1-0 home win over Rochdale. They are now third.
James Meredith played 90 mins and Brad Jones was an unused sub in Bradford's 1-1 away draw with Fleetwood town.
James Wesolowski was not in the squad for Shrewsbury town in their 1-0 away win over Southend United.

League Two:

Alex Cisak played 90 mins for Leyton Orient in their 1-1 away draw with Cambridge United. They remain top of the table.

Bundesliga 2:

Ben Halloran was not in the squad in Heidenheim's 0-0 away draw with Arminia Bielefeld

Greek Super League:

Terry Antonis was not in the squad for PAOK's 3-0 away win over Veria.

Serie B:

Josh Brillante made his debut for Como when he started and played 56 mins in their 2-1 home loss to Livorno. When he went off they were level at 1-1. Livorno sit top.

J-League:

Nathan "Joe" Burns played 84 mins in Tokyo's 3-0 home win over Vissel Kobe. His teammate Maeda scored a hattrick. Not sure if Burns picked up an assist. Tokyo are currently 4th.
Mitchell Duke again played 90 mins in Shimizu's 0-0 away draw with Sagan Tosu. Shimizu have now crawled their way out of the relegation zone.

K-League:

Alex Wilkinson was an unused sub in Jeonbuk's 3-0 home win over Seoul. Jeonbuk are leading comfortably.

Eerste Divisie:

Kenny Dougall played 90 mins in central defence in Sparta Rotterdam's 3-0 home win over Achilles. They sit second with a game in hand.

Saudi Arabia - Crown Prince Cup:

James Troisi made his debut for Al Itihad when he came off the bench on 63 mins in their 2-1 home win over Najran

Turkish Super League:

Aziz Behich came on after 80 mins in Bursaspor's 3-2 home win over Genclerbirligi. It was their first win in 5 matches.

United Arab Emirates:

Mark Milligan played 90 mins in Bani Yas's 3-0 home win over Dibba Al Fujairah

Watched the Celtic Aberdeen game. Unfortunately, in my opinion, Rogic wasn't just quiet , he was poor. Struggled with the speed of the game, too slow to get to the 50-50 balls, dispossessed on a couple of occasions when Celtic was attacking and played few forward, penetrating passes, which is a concern for a number 10.
Leckie on the other had was good in a role that others on the forum have said before quite suits him - playing on the counter attack, running in to space against opposition who are trying to get forward. He was one of the few outlets for Ingolstad against the Bundesliga runner-up from last season, showing good pace and elusive qualities. But, as discussed above, the final ball (cross) was lacking on a couple of occasions.

Aberdeen are Celtic's main opposition this season so away to Aberdeen is likely to be Rogic's most difficult fixture to play in. Coupled with fatigue from international duty is probably why he was off.

Will be rested for sure for the mid-week UEL match and then should be right again for the weekend hopefully.

yep, I would even say Celtic's performance in Europa League is now typical too. Celtic have made the UCL group stages twice in the past 7 european seasons.

The one - the only - Jovanovic returned to action as a 78th minute sub against Ulsan today.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Attended Loftus Rd yesterday to see Mass Luongo. It was my first English football match, highly entertaining. A few things about the game overall. Loftus Rd has amazing atmosphere, awesome stadium that I wish we had more of in the A League, really enclosed, traps all the noise well. Was sitting right next to the away section, so heard all the bants between the home and away fans. Good stuff.

Luongo had a decent game. Played in an AM role. Mainly worked the left hand channel but popped up on both sides where required. Was good on the ball, only sprayed a few ambitious passes, played some very nice passes to put people through on goal, a few passes he received weren't very good but he manage to make something out of them. Also plenty of direct dribbling too, would beat his marker and carry the ball forward. The crowd was right behind him, "come on Mass!" "Go Aussie" I think he, Austin and the winger Cherie will form some good combos. He generally took up decent positions to receive the ball but he did drift out of the game a bit before we was subbed, looked tired. Perhaps blame the international games/travel to Aus/Dushambe. Defensively, chipped in with some good tackles, won a lot of ball. The CMs in his team really weren't helping him out in an attacking or defensive sense though. There were a few times I thought he should maybe come back and help out the midfield but maybe he is under orders to only come back so far.

Also, he seemed quiet in a communication sense. Didn't see him talking much, and to use a Decentric word, there was definitely no gesticulating, perhaps this will come more when he is more familiar with his team mates. Maybe less important for an AM anyway.

Was subbed because Green the keeper is a dildo and can't receive a back pass, tackled the striker who picked up his poor touch from the back pass. Mass was sacrificed to bring on back up keeper (who didn't do much to knock Green from the #1 keeper role.
