While not perfect, Taggart was able to retain possession and get the pass off which lead to the goal. Soccerway have his starting out wide left. Hopefully he can get a run of games now

Did you see his back heel goal from the other game? I will post a vid if you haven't. He had also put a couple of through balls in that had goals on a plate, but the strikers didn't finish in this game, he got rave reviews from celtic fans. Agree, he's not the best at defending and as you say a bit lazy tracking back, he is suited to a trequartista role, I couldn't believe it when they were playing him in DM, or maybe they were trying to up that part of his game? The good thing is he has been out for 2 years at Celtic, he has been getting games and getting sharper and sharper. 4 goals in 5-6 games with a few assists, not bad when you think about it. I think the midfield in this game was good for him, Johansen and Celtic, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same in Europe.

There are about 2 months left in the J League and it looks like Shimizu S-Pulse are going down. I'd expect Mitch Duke will be released. He's a regular in the lineup but I don't think they will have much room for an import forward who scores 1 goal per season. As a result, he might be available for the A League for the second half of the season. Will be very interesting to see where he goes and will be very interesting to see any improvements in his play. 32 games (so far) in a technical league will be a great experience for him. I think he could be a difference maker at AL level.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Edited by TheSelectFew: 1/11/2015 11:43:54 PM 100% Yes, he's still very young, but I legitimately don't see his skillset to be anything special. I honestly think he'll be another Nick Ward.

Makes me sick when I realise that it's all over for him.

King Kenny D was left out of the squad in Spartas 1-3 away win. Hope this isn't a trend.

Amini on the bench with the team 3 down. Might see him soon. Federici with a mistake and it almost come off for Mané.
