To be fair cabaye has played some outstanding football this year so would be difficult for Jedi to get a start ahead of him. A move should happen in Jan for Jedi

Lyden got a brace in a closed door friendly vs Fleetwood town. A few senior players were involved. Only been following him the last few weeks after seeing how shit Villa are but it seems he is at least training with the firsts atm. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/strong-aston-villa-side-see-10497272Edited by moofa: 25/11/2015 04:50:15 PM

Figured I would look for other aussies at shit clubs. Turns out Beadling did pre-season with Sunderlands firsts before ducking his ankle. Here's a recent spotlight interview the club did with him. http://www.safc.com/news/academy-news/2015/november/spotlight-tom-beadlingEdited by moofa: 25/11/2015 05:34:31 PM

Didn't realise he was injured, that makes me feel better about all the times I've seen "was not in the squad" this season.

didn't even know about this Beadling guy, if he can get some game time this seasons hes doing well.. sunderland's squad is actually pretty good... surprised they are in a relegation battle.
Just on Lyden as well.. pulled from the forum at villa talk
"We (Villa) and Portsmouth have an agreement with ECU for them to send over their best young players each year for trials from what I understand. I have a mate who's son now plays for Perth Glory under 15's but prior to this was at ECU and this is who told me about it.
A couple of years back they sent over about 10 lads of various ages and all were amazed at the level of ability of the players who Villa scouts were putting through their paces and really impressed by our set up."
I did not know this? Maybe our best players aren't coming from the so called "Centre of Excellence"?

Damn Griffiths with no idea Rogic totally free in the box. Rogic playing quiet deep and covering a lot of ground.

FFS Griffiths! Rogic with a good short pass and run into space alone in front of goal and the goes far and wide to aman offside. Rightly so Rogic is annoyed.

Rogic off on 65. He's pretty buggered. Had better and worse performances. He was better placed further up the pitch and struggled for involvement being deep.

Anybody got any news on Antonis. Gone very quiet on that front. Wouldn't mind a loan back to Sydney in January. Could use some of his individual brilliance at the moment.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

"Sometimes they need a bit of luck to get through" commentator on Celtic hmmm i disagree with the total dismissal of SPFL. aberdeen have been playing good football. celtic are competitive. next season rangers will be back. certainly been better quality this year than for a few years.

Some of the young guys at Celtic seem good. But those Commentators don't seem convinced at all
