Bayer Leverkusen go 2-0 up in the 28th minute. Kruse may get a run off the bench in the second half.

It's the highest up the pitch i've seen Rogic play at Celtic. He's starting to get on the ball more, a few nice passing exchanges. Looking more mobile also which is good, especially as he's just returning from injury.

Rogic subbed off after 80min. Tidy game, good hitout coming back from injury, was spraying some good passes and beginning to pull the strings in the 2nd half.
Most frustrating aspect for me is that Celtic rarely play through the middle of the defence, and that's where Rogic is most dangerous - they almost always pass it out wide and rely on crosses into the box towards the target men.

Wasn't very impressed with Rogic. Inverness made it tough by sitting back though. Davidson starting against PSV and Bozanic starting against Basel. Both huge games for them.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

McGowan played a full 90 in Hearts win. He was at RB until the 62nd minute when a CB got concussed and he moved there.
Irvine played a full 90 in Kilmarnocks 1-2 loss. Played in the midfield I think and was involved in the goal but it was him playing a long ball perhaps a clearance which his striker knocked down and another player scored.

Not having a dig at all, it's just a very strange culture that has rapidly developed on this forum.

I mentioned it because it is a good thing and f he looked up and targeted the striker I would say he had done well but if it was a blind clearance where he just wanted to get rid of the ball I don't think it is showing him doing anything special.

I was wrong with Irvine's involvement, he won a header from a clearances that put the ball back in which lead to the goal
Davidson didn't do very well for PSV's goal with him letting park turn and get a shot off while also probably fouling him.

Yeah, looked like a penalty if Park didn't score. Not sure what he was thinking because up until then he was having a great game imo. Had a chance on goal after anticipating well to rob a defender but scuffed his chance. Edited by playmaker11: 25/8/2013 03:32:26 PM

Bozanic has scored 5 goals in 6 league games, with that assist in the video added to his tally. He also has one cup goal, though they won the game 11-0. Surely must be in the squad.

Yeah a clear penalty to Park if he had not somehow scored while be thrown to the ground by Davidson.
Some comical defending in the Luzern - Basel game, it seems defenders are paid to stand there and watch opponents run into the box a shoot.

It's very disappointing that our youngest and brightest are being overlooked for others who'd rather chase the cash and seem to have no love for the game but rather the money and their performances seem to show that. We better get a better coach next time around. I swear it better be an Australian coach as well. #holgerout

He'll be there, get subbed on for 4 minutes against Brazil, do nothing and Holger will complain about having to play youth.
