Tyton was poor again, particularly on Dortmund's second goal. Baffles me that Langerak hasn't had a shot yet.
He timed his injury poorly at the start of the season but I don't know what he's doing wrong to have hardly had a sniff since then.

Tyton made some decent stops and the poor defending probably removes some of the blame. Stubborn manager who doesn't want to toy with keepers.

he hasnt seemed as spritely as usual since the last NT camp. i reckon ange overcooks them in camp. there's pretty much always a slump afterwards. Ingolstadt got worse as the game went on. Leckie had a decent workload. Both Japanese players scored for Hannover. Kagawa got a goal too today. if australia had the same playing roster as japan there would be people on here demanding that we win the world cup in russia - anything less would mean ange was a failure :) Edited by inala brah: 24/4/2016 09:26:10 AM

It is nowhere near the level it used to be and the Eerste divisie would not have benefited from it that's for sure Edited by scotch&coke: 24/4/2016 05:56:48 PM

Clubs get them for marketing reasons and they're reasonably cheap. Every German club has a token Japanese player. Many of them can't handle the physical side of the league. Meanwhile our players will give it a good go but because they don't do a pirouette they're not something awesome. At least in the eyes of fans and media. They're raving on about the tricky Japanese still even years after the first arrived. Kagawa, Haraguchi and Muto have had good seasons but Sakai, Kiyotake, Yamaguchi, Osako, Yamada and Hasebe have frustrated their fans. Meanwhile Halloran has done well enough with limited minutes, Langerak and Kruse are being pissed on while Leckie needs to be careful as his form is stagnant. Holland and Degenek have performed average to poor and their clubs' position reflects this. I just wish our better players were also given a shot. They need to secure moves where they'll be used.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Rogic replaced on 64 mins and fans boo the coach for taking Rogic off. Ross County equalised a minute before.

Deeney brushes Jedinak in the face with an elbow. Jedinak takes it on the chin knowing he's on the winning side.
5 added on at Wembley
