+xJackson Irvine just scored a injury time winner for Burton against the run of play against Mooys Huddersfield Town. Shame for Town and their automatic promotion hopes but really good for Burton Albion staying up. Mooy full 90 and sounded like he was one of their best while Jackson came on 63' mins. 90' 0-1 : Burton counter from a long throw; Sordell squared the ball to Irvine past to Irvine who tapped in (AT)

This story about Trent reminds me so much of the belief of foreign players in the NBA now. Wouldn't hurt if the world game borrowed some attitude from NBA These Socceroos boys should watch what Mathew Dellavadova and Thon Maker are doing in the NBA for Milwaukee Bucks, for motivation. Delly always surprises me boy his clutch, grit and ability to lead the floor, not typically seen in Aussies in the NBA. Thon (a perth boy) scored 23 today including some absolutely massive three's and always provides spark when they need it, defensively and offensively. He's been massive lately, only 20 years old Also Giannis Antetokounmpo (the Greek Freak). Not Aussie but this guy is amazing. Greek born, absolute freak player. dominates games like no foreigner seen before. Runs the PG position but he's 6'11 , wing span is unbelievable. Making massive progress as far as Aussies in the NBA goes. Literally , I think motivation for the Aussie footballers playing in League where typically its not the norm for them to be good etc good inspiration for the Socceroos boys. Watch their games I say boys.

Jedi starting for Villa at home to Norwich.
James Meredith starting for Bradford who are chasing promotion to the Championship.

There's an option to view it in an English language version at the bottom of the page, although the translations are shoddy as fuck. "He won the 2012/13 A-League and was named in the team of the year and fell in love with Elena, the son of his coach Graham Arnold" - Ahahaha wat?!

Bailey Wright starting for Bristol City away at Brentford. The game is live on Bein Sports 2 in 30 mins for us Foxtel people. Bristol are firmly in the relegation battle so it will be massive for them.

Jurman, Mrcela and Degenek all played. Jamieson's starting now. 1-0 up against Malmo.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Smith's selection problems stem from being a very fast donkey...

+xSmith shoulda made that decision 12 months ago he did. when he left liverpool. he made the right move at the time. you would think a near record club fee for you would indicate that they want to play you.

+x+xThe FansYou're better than making those kind of horrible calls. We can leave his family out of it (especially when it's that painful). And a man's dignity and manhood aren't measured by sex or relationship status. Darren Bent stole Herd's missus if i recall correctly? she's not a possession to be stolen. she left herd.

No Luongo tonight. He had the knock and that long journey back.
Ange commented on Milligan doing well as Luongo had picked up a know. Definitely sounded like Luongo was going to start.

bit annoying to see most plays assuming they are going to the confeds cup what 3 or 4 months out? We are on the brink of missing out on the world cup...? Maybe our boys just have one eye on the confeds cup?

lesson to be learnt from every player that's been led on from their coach. leave. leave as soon as possible. look at langerak. of course howe wants smith to stay. he needs the back up. it's almost a full season gone and smith has only got a look in when they were desperate. howe is just using smith and probably couldnt give a shit if he sat on the bench for 3 years.

Smith ready to leave EPL for game time Socceroos tyro Brad Smith doesn't want to leave English Premier League home Bournemouth but is ready to drop down a division for crucial game time. The 22-year-old left back turned heads when he moved from giants Liverpool to the up-and-coming Premier League club for $10 million in the off season. The fee was a surprising one from a club of Bournemouth's relative stature for an unproven, albeit impressively talented defender. The south coast club are yet to see a return on their investment given Smith has made just five appearances in the league this season. But they see the value in their young Australian and both club and player are willing to be patient. "When you go to a new team you have to adjust that team plays. I'm not getting as much football as I'd like," he said. "I would have played more at Bournemouth than I would at Liverpool anyway. "It's gone alright. Next year I think will be a big season for me. (I need to) get some more game time, get a big chance." Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou persisted with Smith in the current squad despite him falling foul of his 'form and fitness' mantra. With a Confederations Cup and, hopefully, a World Cup on the horizon, Smith knows he can't rely on his coach's generosity to continue far into the distance. "For now, I'll stay at Bournemouth. I'm learning under Eddie Howe and it's going really well besides game time. I'm improving," he said. "We spoke about (a loan) this season and he said 'definitely not'. He said 'you're part of the future' and he wants me to grow under him and learn. "We'll reassess at the start of next season. Hopefully I'll have a good pre-season after the Confeds Cup and then get a big chance ... maybe a loan move if that's what he wants me to do. "Either way I'll be playing and if not I'll go to the Championship and get game time there." Smith said if he did needed to move to a second-tier club, he would be in good company, given fellow Socceroos Mile Jedinak, Massimo Luongo, Bailey Wright and Aaron Mooy all ply their trade there. "There's a few of them now, it'd be good to play against them," he laughed. http://wwos.nine.com.au/2017/03/27/03/34/smith-ready-to-leave-epl-for-game-time

+x+xI remember when herd was a prospect for villa.... shame. What happened excatly he lost all dignity as a man. If that's a comment about his domestic life then that's too low for even this forum.
