Kruse played the first half in a 4-0 friendly win over a 5th tier German team, 3 goals scored before half time.
Amini played the first 71 minutes in a league win.
Irvine played a full friendly match for Burton in a 1-0 loss to Exeter City.
Yeboah played the first 55 minutes in a 0-7 friendly loss for Gladbach II against newly relegated 3rd tier MSV Duisburg. Only 0-2 at half time so maybe they threw kids on.

Buron Mail had Irvine as their MOTM. Only real mentions in the match report were that the ball bypassed the midfield for most of the first half and his missed a header where he just couldn't quite reach the cross. Quote:MAN OF THE MATCH: Jackson Irvine - the Australian midfielder was starting to find his feet in the second half, dictating play at time. I'm not sure where exactly I said that freestyle is the be all and end all of every single technical ability? The point was the Hyuga is technically gifted and was rated as not good enough for the championship - That doesn't say anything about the mindset of managers in the Championship in general. It says he's not good enough despite being good technically.
If again, you think that freestyle doesn't teach good technical skills then I think you might either actually be blind or are watching a different sport.
Good little video here - Surely these guys can only do it because they were taught to pass well.

Its not like you showed a video of players with exemplary 1v1 skills, 1st touch or passing skills
Also the manager didn't question how well Tanner would go he questioned how effective being technically good is in the championship (and the latter implies the former of course) This isn't said in a vacuum either. Most teams still play a pretty agricultural style with a few exceptions which still don't exactly blow me away with their technical ability or style. Many roos have gone backwards while there. This can happen in any league but its a lot more common there Australia is such a small footballing nation that we feel every player that has their development hindered in the ecl Not to mention that as an osaussie regular I have selfish motives for complaining when a player goes to the ecl. I find it so tedious watching ecl games to follow their progress.

We couldn't really take him. the coach doesn't say whether he( Tanner) will have a effect in the Championship., the coach says whether that ( technically very good) would have an effect in the Championship so they went with the Irish guy who (in the coach words) has been playing well below Championship level in Ireland

I've never heard of "hygua". Your posted some freestyle video and made the judgement that if technique was the only important factor then he would be good enough to play for real. Ie that he is technically one of the best players in the world. And you wanted us to buy that argument from looking at his average freestyle skills. Ridiculous. You said it in this post, practicing freestyle skills is a good way to improve a few of the tributes that make up a players technical ability. To think you can determine hat a player is technically good by looking at these skills is idiotic. If you want to make your argument find me a player with fantastic passing, shooting, first touch, dribbling, crossing etc that isn't good enough for the championship. Before you think I'm implying that technique is everything, I'm not.

no matter how dominant an aussie player is for their team how often do they fall afoul of a new coach

rogers comments about rogic about a day ago saying he hope rogic stays and signs a new contract
“Both are talented players. Tom I really like, he is very good,” said Rodgers.
“He has good skill and ability, but he is coming off the back of having a really bad time with injuries a couple of years ago.
“Last year he was only really coming through that. Hopefully this year he can kick on again"

Rodgers is so full of shit. He can only continue to 'come through that' by playing minutes, not warming the pine. The man can't be trusted, he cheated on his wife...

The man can't be trusted, he cheated on his wife... rodgers hoarded players at liverpool who had a slim chance of getting on the pitch. klopp said he was shocked at the number of loanies and extras signed with liverpool that will never get a run. just look at how many he has sold off this transfer window. rodgers would rather have him just in case with no intention of playing him or looking after him. he may as well be in the serie a with that bullshit attitude. Been saying he needed a move for months and it seems Brad Smith is actually leaving Liverpool. Latest reports are he's off to Bournemouth for £6m or $10.5m AUD
Only problem may be he might not be first choice of Howe decides to have Ake at left back and not in the middle.
