+xGreat wrap Pala, thanks! Wonder why Mooy went off so early..? Doesn't seem to be much mention of him, except for an official tweet saying he was spreading play and making space well. Must have been a more quiet shift for him.

cringeworthy comment on mooy from the huddersfield forum regarding playing him as a 10
He might have ripped it up at a #10 in the mickey mouse Australian league, however, the Championship is a different beast. For example, it's a far faster league and Mooy doesn't have the pace of a couple of our other #10 options. He's also fantastic at getting stuck in and linking up defence and attack in the box-to-box role.
Looks like he played tired last night
hope he doesn't burn out in the ecl

I wonder if teams have started to mark him and the manager took him off to change the game plan. In the HAL aggressive man marking did make him less effective .Ask Matty McKay.

Championship is such a long season, and the play is all fast speed. Then a championship player comes to the a league and is amazed at how quick it is playing in 30 degree heat. But I find it funny when they said he not suited for 10, but then list his skill sets that makes him a great 10.

Big step up in match fitness over the season.

Grazor - they're clueless. This is the league that put nick Carle in a holding role and lauded his defensive quality (he is the most exclusively offensive player I can think of that oz has produced) ) Theyd probably put requilme as dm.
Their heads are just so full of wrong ideas and misinformation. England is the USA of football. They arrogantly think they are the best and know it all even when all evidence points to the contrary and even after campaign Failures after campaign failures. Both peaked 50 years ago and have been going steeply downhill ever since.

+x+xA result I haven't seen mentioned is Burgess played a full game in a 1-0 win for Oldham (League 1). That's three clean sheets in a row for him (the other two were both 0-0 draws) Read my post again! ;) yes you seem to have snuck him in. Ok something I know hasn't been posted is an update on Lazio's first game. Keita is out so it will be Kishna on one wing and between Djordjevic (most likely to start), Ikon and Lombardi on the other. Lombardi is similar to Ikon in age and also went out on loan last season. He played more games but was at a lower level. I think Ikon is in front of him. “I started Keita seven times last season, nobody made him do that. I tried to motivate him, he alternated positive with less positive moments. “What happened yesterday left me stunned. The lad felt a little pain, the tests were negative, but today he said he was still in pain. I wanted to use him, especially now we haven’t yet brought in a replacement for Antonio Candreva. “I just have to keep going with those who are happy to be at Lazio. We will play 4-3-3. Filip Djordjevic could even play wide, but I’ve got Lombardi and Oikonomidis too.

Hopefully he improves whoscored has him playing attacking mid. Can anyone confirm? We should send a center back to the ecl and have them play him as striker

Huddersfield have Payne and Palmer to play as their number 10 and both have been impressing, so Mooy is not going to be playing there and it is not a reasonable expectation that he will play there.

There seems to be some confusion about why mooy came off so early. Some hudders fans are concerned about a possibly injury. there was the (now) usual fap fest over his performance including; "It was telling when Mooy went off, we lost that control in the centre" http://outside90.com/aaron-mooy-inspires-huddersfield-to-top-of-the-table/the guy that replaced mooy did score the winning goal

its pretty weird about the lack of championship games being televised or streamed this year. admittedly i didnt really follow it last year but for the few years proceeding you could easily find most games on a streaming website. i dont really understand why it is being shut out. especially considering the number of teams that are real contenders for the promotion. it's insane this year. there must be 8 or 9 serious contenders. it's going to be great to watch. some really great managers and players have been bought in as well.

It's funny reading the exchanges between Aussies and Huddersfield fans on their forum.
Two groups with similar interests, each convinced of their own superior understanding of the game, and the poor quality of the other's league.
It's like a bunch of Craig Fosters have been cloned and allocated to different sides....

I went on their and was hopefully respectful Personally I don't think its an inferior league, just inferior for development

Then picked up by Palace and ended up playing the same type of game Mass plays now scrapping for 50/50s and going direct and his game suffered for it.

Davidson starting against Twente in a sec. LB of course.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
