I know it's been mentioned in the underage national team thread - not sure if it had been mentioned here, but Reno Piscopo has been selected for Australia for the AFC u19 Championship, so I guess he's ours now.

As an 18 year old, if he is performing well there might get be plans for a loan to get first team action in the next couple of seasons.

Has anyone else who views this thread on mobile memorised the fact that 4 years ago Corey Gameiro came on in the 63rd min for FC Eindhoven in their 2-0 loss to De Graafschap, or is it just me?

Imprinted on my mind. Its a shame. Corey had a tonne of potential.

And it seems like Armenakas rejected a call-up to stay at Udinese. This isn't an indication that he wants to play for another nation as looking at his twitter on October 1 he posted himself in an Aussie training kit and has made it his twitters banner. I would say it is just to do with his club situation. He is currently getting chances to train with the first team and I would say he is looking to play first team football by season's end. Now opportunities with Udinese will be especially rare as they have no cup competitions so setting himself up for a January loan may be an option. There were rumours of a Dutch second tier team looking at him before the season but seeing the reaction from the European (English) media from his one appearance on one of Serie A's massive benches shows that clubs quickly take notice and some slightly larger teams may come calling. 

Armenakas? it's a guy who has matured. He has done a beautiful thing, professionally speaking: was convened with the Australia for a game not FIFA and decided to stay in Udine to play with the Primavera.

Sorry for the late reply. I was going to earlier but the problem is I don't know. It has to do with submitting financial reports to show they are stable but it is something where they want to submit it now but if they miss anything they might not get another chance for a few months.

So I mentioned in passing that he made his Primavera debut vs Piscopo but Virtus Entella (Serie B) player Gabriel Cluer travelled with the first team squad for their away trip to Bari yesterday. He is listed as a defender for the youth team but a midfielder for the firsts. I think this is because he came into the club as a right back but has performed at right mid. People who follow state football here may know more about him than me.

Halloran just scored the first goal for his side. A very composed volley off a cross.

Langerak just conceded 3 goals in 6 minutes. The second made him look bad as it started from him passing to a defender who is immediately closed down and then they pass the ball around him
