How many W-League articles are posted in a day? Is there enough traffic to warrant it?

It'd probably draw a few ridiculous comments to begin with, but that would settle down.

Well I would use it as would a fair number of others, may also encourage a different type of poster to visit the forums since we have seen a similar effect with Grassroots being relabeled State League.

Langan has a point about stories getting lost in AF. Three to 4 years ago a bumped thread in AF would stay on the first page. Now with Joffa et al. spamming/servicing the forum with third-party news stories and random threads, sadly the less popular women's stories get pushed to the second page. And I don't know about others, but I usually access the news stories via the forum, not the home page.

I think a new sub-forum would be self-regulated like State League and Performance are, simply due to the traffic being reduced to those who actually follow or have an interest in the W-League.

we've got a banning function don't we. Anyone being an immature idiot can get a ban. Simple. I think it'd work here. There are a lot of interesting stories with the girls that get lost in the Australian forum. Like how Canberra are going to the Club World Cup, Sydney's duel international and a host of other stories. I think it'd be good to have everything about the girls' game in one space.

I am against it as the one on TWGF either had nothing in it or immature wankers looking at making stupid jokes. It is Australian football the same as the men's game, those of us interested in it comment and those who aren't don't - lets leave it that way.

Why not give the girls there own forum? That way we could have the W-League, the Matildas and any women related topics all in one. At the moment you've got one thread that contains a butload of interesting articles and topics. There'd probably be more interest in it if the girls had their own forum.

I am keeping it all in one thread as it is easier for me to update and it hopefully generates some conversation about the W-League.

If you think it needs its own section then you should suggest it in the feedback section...I would support it.
