Two topics I find puzzling in football.
1. Why do referees delay the taking of a free kick or corner kick to warn players about pushing/holding etc. Why not get on with the game and award a free kick if need to.
2. How come 95% of free kicks are awarded to defenders when a ball is played into the penalty area.
