I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest times in our sports history.

Now is the time to lift our sport from the quicksands of sporting injustice to the solid rock of the world game, football.

The marvelous new financial benefits which has engulfed the football community must not lead us to distrust all AFL followers, as evidenced by their presence on this forum they have realised that their destiny is tied up with our destiny , and their success is inextricably bound to our success.

I have a dream that David Beckham will come to Australia and play for melbourne Heart or Western Sydney Wanderers.

I have a dream that socceroos such as Cahill will be back next year to finish their careers here and invest their time and money with Beckham in youth academies and junior clubs.

I have a dream that Qatar is found guilty of corruption in the World Cup bid process and expelled from hosting the tournament and the rights are given to Australia after a new vote.

I have a dream that we can live in harmony with our AFL inbred brothers and when their sport is only played in the bush I dream that we send them food parcels and grog so that they don't die the horrible death that they probably deserve.

I have a dream that Adelaide has a second A-league team in the next 50 years. Dream on.
