You keep constantly pointing out the club hasn't changed at all. What I'm trying to show you is that it has, and all you can bring up is things from the NSL, and mainly the same things again and again. You won't recognise any positive change the club makes. And I honestly want to know what your problem with the club is? Have nothing against the club which was the most watched by me during and pre NSL. I felt welcome and was one of the 5%. However being armed with this knowledge I completely understand how entrenched the Greek culture at the club is. I'm also aware of all tyhe lip service it paid to broaden at a time when the authorities pushed for it, banned ethnic signatures, names and when there was a glimmer of hope with the development of other main stream clubs producing crowds only Hellas could imagine. It bucked at all that right up to the end of the NSL which in reality was not that long ago. Coupled that with the ethnic tensions and culture still exhibited eg vs Macedonia in the VPL in 2005, they have still long way to go. Mind you same applies to clubs like Sydney Croatia and / or Melbourne Croatia with similar histories. But this thrfead is about Hellas getting into the A-League. Until they can demonstrate a clear new direction (not lip service) and comply with all the criteria forml or informal set by the FFA, they belong out of the limelight in the lower leagues.

I find it ironic how now we have people within the game with this anti-wog mentality.
"You dirty ethnics go away with your scary souvlaki and chevapi's, and your up tempo music which makes people happy".

Don't know who you're talking about but I love souvlaki, chevapi and even octopus. What's more ironic is people believing their club have a right to represent their community first and foremost, bias and all and not expect a backlash. Are you a pimple facer too? There was no timeline in the press release and a very obvious omission of any reference to P&R. Your mention of 5 years could only be the time when you might lose your pimples.

It's just an example of a perception someone older might have of the younger generation standing behind goals yelling and throwing flares! Not that all Active Areas have flare throwers. I think flares should stay out of stadiums for good. Also, get a hair cut you hippies! :p[/size]

But agree, there's no future for it which beggers why such mono ethnic clubs brought their fight into this country in the first place. I bet there's still hatred between some of the Greek club supporters and the Macedonian club supporters. One thing I've learned is that emotional european countries like Greece, Macedonia, Croatia and other Balkan states will not let go their grievences or hatred of their waring nations past that easy. After hundreds of years of pain its easy to understand why they still exist, however it doesn't belong here. Now that's one of the concerns and another is Hellas' willingness (unwillingness rather)to expand and broaden. Does SM Hellas still cater for Greek functions only, I bet you do! On Saturday there certainly appeared to be more people in the active area behind the goal than on either side of the ground. There weren't very many on the camera side.

Think South is going to have a really difficult time proving it isn't a Greek club.
With all the colours, chants, fans, history, boardroom identitiies, etc generally in life if something looks, walks, quacks like a duck its probably a duck.
Actions speak louder than words my friends.

Ours is a club with a strong Greek heritage which no-one denies, Heart meanwhile has no point of differentiation but no one there appears to want to admit it. Perhaps ostrich would be a more accurate bird for them?
