the most common responce i have been getting is probably a tennis player
(both male and female responses)
what would you prefer?

Well my girl plays football now and then, and swims a lot, so I'll say those.

This thread reminds me of a Jimmy Carr joke. It goes something along the lines of "my dream girl would be a gumnast. Not just because of the felxability, but because if she didn't dismount properly, I could make her do it all again until she got it right".

my mrs has played netball her whole life (always around those rep kinda teams) but finally after a 6 months of moving district she has made some friends who are in a football team so she's giving that a crack next year. she used to play for the australian youth ultimate frisbee team, so i guess she's already considered a sportsperson in that small world.

but she's a natural athlete, i'd imagine she could play any sport & be decent at it after a few years of proper coaching.

but if i had the choice for my ideal sportsperson partner, i'd probably say some gymnast-type sport or swimming or something - something that made them look well fit & not huge muscle but nice trim muscle tone.

Not hockey. Never pick hockey. Hand callouses, busted up feet and toenails, huge bruises from ball hits, oh, and two broken hands in three years.

And an impending bad back from being bent over all the time. Playing hockey.

On sunny mornings I like to go down to the St Kilda foreshore with a couple of mates and watch the milfs run past. :lol:
