I've got Doubts about LA. Thought they would get Kaka or Wesley Snejder.

Maybe they should let him go and spend the 2 mill on the whole squad.

This'll end up in the rumour mill, champ. You've posted exactly...... 0 SOURCES FOR YOUR INFORMATION. In all seriousness, they can't snare him now! I've just received my Del Piero Sydney shirt.

Would be very surprised if either the Galaxy or Shenhua go for him. Both have the money to get someone younger.

I don't think the Shanghai lifestyle would be as good as Sydney's....I mean seriously? a city that is always smoggy / polluted and nothing to do but shopping Vs sunny days, beaches, summer, better lifestyle. I would be very surprised if he left for Shanghai.

italian article above claims that sydney fc wants to get rid off del piero because their merchandise benefits are less than expected and opposition sides benefit more from him than sydney fc itself. absolute shit imo.

As a fan of the only club to have ever been fined for breaching the cap - have you? And what exactly did I have to do with that? And how is that exactly relevant to anything posted on the thread? Well considering you stated that Sydney couldn't use the 2 million on the squad because of the salary cap, and the fact that you have actually in the past spent more then the salary cap allows, I think it's pretty damn relevant.

Let me rephrase it then, why don't they use the 2 mill to completely start again, get rid of the toxic environment inside the club. Hire a coach who knows what he is doing,. Try signing guys who can perform at this great level that is the HAL. Come up with an idea on what the club stands for, something other then being a coach's nightmare.
WSW did It in 6 months and look how well they are going, their club culture is more defined in 12 months then Sydney's is after 8 years.
The HAL needs a strong Sydney, so for the good of the league, I hope they get their shit together very soon.

Hmm although i doubt he will go, they are going to have to work hard to convince him to stay. This club has always had cultural issues. Even when i vaguely followed them. I really hope he doesn't leave as it will put us right back where we started. Another part of me wants him to go so the clubs and league dont make these kind of minstakes again. FC have been a horrible international ad for the league
