I will try and limit my posts on the main board, although sometimes I am hit with a bout of absolute genius, and I simply have to put it up.

Re the Fox Sports ratings thread, I've received really positive feedback on it, and as afro says, I put up whatever gets into the top 20 - no bias, no ad libbing, no editorialising (even sailing made it up one day, which floored me).

We can all get along guys - open your eyes, and your hearts, embrace that with which you are most unfamiliar.

By the way, someone mentioned BF. Some may not be aware that BF gets more traffic than 442, the Roar and TWG combined, plus some.

Interestingly, BF is very catholic about who it allows onto its pages.

442 has something like 9 boards in total.

BF has 164 boards alone dedicated to aussie rules (give or take one, it got difficult counting them all).

A further 8 boards are dedicated to soccer (and they even call it football!)

A further 23 boards are dedicated to other sports, including rugby league, and finally there are 33 general interest boards dedicated to anything and everything.

That's 228 boards in total.

And you guys are worried about one or two threads mentioning the AFL - seriously??

Grow up, broaden your horizons, be more accepting of your fellow Australians.

How about we start instead by weeding out something that has absolutely no bearing on A-League, State League, the Socceroos, Football in general, ie the AFL shit the pro-AFL troll keeps posting. :-k

To be fair, when you can only see the top 20 not a lot of football has been rating. When Football's rated in the top 20 he's mentioned it, but it's not happening often.

But you are right, it's not necessary to bump the thread every day. We get it, there are sports out there that out-rate our sport of choice. Shit happens.
