A soccer fan started the thread to compare WSW and GWS, and there's a broad consensus that WSW have done very, very well in their first season. Occasional updates of GWS' memberships do not detract from that and add to the conversation.

EDIT: But yes, there's also nothing wrong with seeing MF's name and avatar and deciding "I don't feel like reading that" and then not reading it. How brilliant!
