As a part of Terrace Culture comes the Casual look, just wondering who her would be interested in an 80's Casual store opening up in Australia.
80's Casual is a British casual company making quality shirts and tops for casually obsessed lads. The bloke looking to set it up is a former Zulu so understands the scene better than most.
Looking foer some feed back to help this lad out.

Looking foer some feed back to help this lad out. 80's Casuals isn't really one of the main brands associated with the scene in Australia (in my experience) although having a store here would probably increase awareness. Initially, I believe you'd have a reasonably limited market and would be relying a fair bit on the general public catching on to keep you going. Should also be noted that most 'casuals' buy from overseas so you'd have to provide pretty similar prices and a decent range to draw them in. As much as I'd love to see something like this in Aus, I wouldn't have a clue if it would be a viable business.

I've got a mate who was selling some of their stuff online for a while. There really wasn't a lot of money in it.

It's a bit hot here for most CP and Stone Island isn't it? I mean, I'd like a few Stone Island/Lyle and Scott jumpers maybe but wearing them isn't going to be all that regular.

A winter season just so you can pretend to be a super cool casual?
Right...

Yeah, we should be out of alignment with the world's transfer windows because a couple of lads want to wear a sweater with a particular logo on it.

Personally I think the summer football here makes it less entertaining, the games are so slow - it's too hot to play in an Australian summer. There are a lot of leagues that don't align with Europe, but with the number of players we lose to Europe in their transfer windows, continually losing players mid-season would not bode well for the league. Not to mention losing the league's higher profile players in June to international tournaments. There's also the additional conditioning advantage our players have for the NT from playing and training in warmer environments which they wouldn't get. Those leagues also aren't competing with the AFL/NRL for venues (venues like Etihad, AAMI Park, Suncorp, ANZ and Parramatta), tv scheduling and crowds. Not to mention the number of fair-weather fans we have in the A-League as it is, the quality of football might improve slightly but crowds would inevitably decrease due to poor weather.
