There are a lot of football leagues out of line with European transfer windows. Personally I think the summer football here makes it less entertaining, the games are so slow - it's too hot to play in an Australian summer. There are a lot of leagues that don't align with Europe, but with the number of players we lose to Europe in their transfer windows, continually losing players mid-season would not bode well for the league. Not to mention losing the league's higher profile players in June to international tournaments. There's also the additional conditioning advantage our players have for the NT from playing and training in warmer environments which they wouldn't get. Those leagues also aren't competing with the AFL/NRL for venues (venues like Etihad, AAMI Park, Suncorp, ANZ and Parramatta), tv scheduling and crowds. Not to mention the number of fair-weather fans we have in the A-League as it is, the quality of football might improve slightly but crowds would inevitably decrease due to poor weather. We?

Personally I don't Like CP Company and Stone Island is just a big target on your back to have some twat thinking he's hard to come up and clobber you. Personally I like independent labels but I do have a bit of Burberry, Aquascutum, FP, Ben Sherman, Armani, and Henri Lloyd. Personally I'd like to see more individuality in the Terraces, too much FP, matching outfits out there at the moment.

I wear my jackets away from football more than I do at games, I wouldn't even bother with high end jackets and knitwear if it was exclusively for match days. I don't know what it's like in Melbourne and Adelaide, but it barely gets cold enough in the winter here either. I probably only wear a jacket three or four times a winter. I agree with the jumpers though and maybe some lighter jackets, but I just don't see a use for the nicer jackets in Australia. The other labels do deserve a bit more of a mention, but that comes with some time. Aquascutum is sorely missing here, but there's a few decent Fred Perry, Ben Sherman and Lacoste jackets which are far lighter than CP/Stone Island gear which I don't see too often. I'm not quite sure why we don't see more of these lighter jackets instead of the fila tracktops everyone seems to wear. You're right though, too many polo lookalikes. What I hate the most I think is everyone seems to wear black, need more colour. If you're worried about SI making you stand out just take the label/logo off on the side, it'll just leave the buttons which is a bit more inconspicuous.
