I wear my jackets away from football more than I do at games, I wouldn't even bother with high end jackets and knitwear if it was exclusively for match days. I don't know what it's like in Melbourne and Adelaide, but it barely gets cold enough in the winter here either. I probably only wear a jacket three or four times a winter. I agree with the jumpers though and maybe some lighter jackets, but I just don't see a use for the nicer jackets in Australia. The other labels do deserve a bit more of a mention, but that comes with some time. Aquascutum is sorely missing here, but there's a few decent Fred Perry, Ben Sherman and Lacoste jackets which are far lighter than CP/Stone Island gear which I don't see too often. I'm not quite sure why we don't see more of these lighter jackets instead of the fila tracktops everyone seems to wear. You're right though, too many polo lookalikes. What I hate the most I think is everyone seems to wear black, need more colour. If you're worried about SI making you stand out just take the label/logo off on the side, it'll just leave the buttons which is a bit more inconspicuous. Cagoules are pretty much perfect for Australian weather, I would definitely head in that direction if I lived up there.

Harrington Jackets and Bombers are always good, Cagoules as mentioned. Personally I love a Burberry Trent coat but it's hard to convince the wife to let me spend a mortgage payment on an overcoat. lol

I have a C.P and a Stone Island, I don't really wear them to games though in case they get ripped in a scuffle get beer thrown over them etc. In Melbourne you really can wear a jacket most days, although you have to remember not to on away days to pretty much any other city.

You also seem to be insinuating that being gay is a bad thing. You and afro should take your prehistoric and bigoted attitudes elsewhere. Go back a page, scroll down and read. Never said anything taking pride in appearance making you gay etc. -PB

However, lets not discuss the fifteen year old flare lighters wearing 'Champion' hoodies, that call themselves active support in this country. What do you all prefer for a footballing feast in the terraces, David Beckham's 2012/13 H&M range or the latest Harry Kewell endorsed assortment from politix?

FP is way higher at WSW, they have a whole crew who wear black and Yellow FP pollos. but I'll give it to AMOK there are a few of their lads that dress nice.
What about shoes? Adidas is in over kill all across the board. but I am starting to see some Diadora and BK's hitting the streets.

Obviously the two melbourne teams along with sydney would be up the top with adelaide and brisbane a fair way back. I find that it's mostly the younger lads just starting out on the scene that will wear your fred perrys, your ben shermans etc with a pair of gazelles and as they develop they move away from that sorta stuff. Adidas is still ridiculously popular but I'm a massive fan of New Balance and Nikes atm and can also get around a pair of Pumas.

I still prefer my Adidas trainers, I'm too scared to take my Forest Hills anywhere near a stadium though. Don't mind NB. What's everyone's thoughts on Clarks Originals? A few people starting to wear them, not something I've been persuaded by as of yet.

I've got hard courts and Super stars. For non Trainers I go with standard 1410 docs. I've not heard of people wearing Clarks though. Must be a Melbourne thing.
BTW I meant NB not BK's.
Never could get intro Gazelles and sambas. Forrest Hills are mynt though, Roms too.
