RBB definitely not as loud as the NT at AAMI though. Think that might have more to do with the acoustics of the stadia though.

And you're right in terms of acoustics. AAMI's are awesome (noticed that last season when we went down there), whereas Parra is open aired over the RBB end.

AAMI's acoustics are awful. Empty, echo-ey and generally shit.

AAMI park is only echoey in an empty stadium.

Not strictly true. The echo is countered by the murmer of the crowd but it's still there. Because of the way the roofing is designed it creates some truly awful acoustics.

It isn't best for acoustics. Still a top notch venue. Pitch is perfect. Hope they make some signicant extensions for when Collingwood ruin Jihad like they did Olympic Park. Hate the AFL more and more.

They should have made it bigger to begin with. It'll be cheaper for them to build a whole new stadium than expand AAMI and it'll turn into a white elephant.

Because the NTC and all the core groups generally ARE casuals. Not to mention they aren't exactly going to be highlighting too many of the scarfers from the trip given the complete lack of effort most of them gave on saturday.
