Even with the above warning - I feel compelled to advise that I have heard from various solid quarters MH investors have said "enough is enough - we are not putting in any more money"

Luckily this is a break even season - or at least that is what we are told

I know I know - where is the proof you ask??

Well 442 - how about you get Sidwell on the phone including some of the board and ask them to refute the above

My info is solid and MH are in serious trouble

As for the above note - I believe Heart will go broke - it is an opinion i have based on what I see and deliver my opinion to this forum

Corruption is held by those that try to have us believe all is rosy at the Red and White

One more thing - Joffa - you are too sensitive to anything that is negative to our game

I am just as passionate as you about our game - however I don't see how ignorance can have a positive effect on our game

If something is not working out - we need to identify it - address it and resolve it

The Heart are a very weak link in this game - My opinion on the back of crowds of 5390 - re-affirms my position

so rather than give me warnings.....

Is FourFourTwo liable where a user has posted a potentially defamatory comment? I can't imagine it would be but I don't blame Joffa for being on the safe side. If I'm honest OP, there's no need to be naming people, it's perfectly acceptable to say "I heard through the grapevine but I don't really know" or something.

I just spoke to Sidwell on my mobile phone and he categorically DENIES those rumours. If you don't believe me call him yourself and get 442 on it to refute it.

You are playing a very dangerous game here Chris, you are opening yourself up to a libel claim.



I would doubt 442 would have action brought against it. It's far more likely that as they are warning Chris for his shit posts, that Sidwell (I'm not 100% sure if corporations can sue for libel) would ask 442 to remove the offending posts.

Or Sidwell might merely decide to sue Chris only, and avoid asking 442 to do anything entirely related to removing or suing for the posts, but may request or legally require 442 to give any identification such as email or ip address to Sidwell's lawyers.

It could be a very sticky situation for 442. My layman's view is that a lawsuit/case against 442 would fail, while no lawyer in their right mind would recommend going after 442 in the first place.

I'm pretty sure that Chris is getting carried away with his initial post - however, I wouldn't go using bids for Neill and Beckham as proof that the investors aren't sick.

Neill was a short term deal on (apparently) lowish wages, and was a move which would have raised quite a bit of interest. No brainer.

Beckham - one of the most marketable players in the world, I'm sure even sick-to-the-gills investors would see the benefit in putting a package together for him - he is one of the few players in the world who could generate enough income to make such a deal worthwhile... No brainer. That's all assuming that the offer was genuine. It's very easy to make a bid on a player (and make sure everyone knows you are making it), with no financial risk, if you make the offer relatively low. Heart wouldn't be the first team in the world to make a public move for a player they didn't actually expect to sign.

In the meantime - whilst making bids for Neill and Beckham - who was it they actually signed? Jamie Coyne, wasn't it?
