It's fantastic that there will finally be an artificial pitch in SA and it's a huge step in the right direction (especially for the AUFC W-League side, many of whom last season had to literally travel from one end of Adelaide [Hallett Cove] to the other [Burton] to both train and play), but - as the article states - it's still got a long way to go.
You could hope that a snowball effect occurs, as it did in Victoria, where it went from one to 38 in just the last 6 years, but other recent events (like the proposed cuts in Government spending, which will heavily hit grassroots sports of practically all kinds; especially football) will stunt any chances of rapid growth.
