Fury will play Brothers Townsville FC in Round 5 of the FFA Cup on Sunday the 20th of April! Hopefully Fury will get a win and then we will be two games away from the Round of 32. -PB

Complete mix up of the comp from last season so far, very interesting, wonder if it will keep up.

Quote:Northern Fury have secured their first points in the south-east corner this season with a 2-1 win over Western Pride at Briggs Road Complex in Ipswich.
Braedyn Crowley scored the match winner for Fury in the second half, adding to his first half strike and continuing his recent goal scoring form.
Peter Drager levelled terms for Pride in the first half, but couldn’t repeat his heroics in the second when he struck a penalty against the crossbar.
Both teams fought for the win with pressure on both keepers during the first half with Pride’s Chris Scott forcing Fury keeper Dylan Hudson into a save early on.
Jack Gusmeroli retaliated on the other end of the pitch with the Pride keeper Andres Pascoe fumbling the long range effort leading to a scrambled clearance.
Fury saw their perseverance pay off when Crowley netted the first goal of the game before Drager equalized shortly after with a powerful shot from inside the box.
Crowley tried for a first half brace but again was denied twice by Pascoe before the end of the half, while Kevin Fraser also saw a good chance fly over the bar.
The second half than began as it ended with Corey Waples just dragging a shot wide for Fury before Crowley scored the match winner for Fury with a well-executed finish just after the hour.
Minutes later, Drager missed the chance to once again level terms from the penalty spot when his shot ricocheted off the crossbar.
Will Jordan almost made amends when his shot beat the keeper, but was just wide of the far post.
Subsititute Aaron Christensen made an immediate impact with an attempt on goal that went wide of the post.
Pride’s Lincoln Rule saw his late shot saved by Hudson to secure Fury the points.
The result lifts Fury into third on the NPL Queensland table, while Pride remain without a competition point and in second last place on the table.
Western Pride 1 (Peter DRAGER 28’) Northern Fury 2 (Braedyn CROWLEY 24’ 63’) http://www.foxsportspulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?client=0-9385-0-281020-0&&news_task=DETAIL&articleID=29010619-PB

Ping g25 irons Dawson, who was made available via conference call after the news was released Wednesday, made it clear that this will not necessarily affect the playing of the Open Championship at all-male clubs. Last year, his organization came under scrutiny because the Open was played at all-male Muirfield in Scotland. Callaway x hot driver "We have been considering this, and it's been on our radar for quite some time," said Peter Dawson, who serves as secretary of the club as well as the chief executive of the R&A -- a separate business entity that now runs the Open and administers the rules. Callaway x hot irons "As society changes, as sport changes, as golf changes, it's something the R&A needs to do, and we're trying to be as forward-looking as we can today." ping g20 driver He also stressed that members are being encouraged to support the measure but that it will still require a vote. Updated. Good win in the Cup last night against local team Brothers getting up 2-1, will now take on the winner of Mareeba Bulls vs FNQ Heat. Very physical game with absolutely shithouse refereeing. Don't think there will be any highlights which is a shame as Fury scored off a wicked free kick outside the box in the first half. -PB

5-1 loss to Roar youth.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Ref should have played on, and leveled it at 1-1. I reckon that shot the Fury's confidence.

Was there and the Ref was an utter spas. Blew far too early for the first penalty and the Fury staff gave him a fucking decent spray at half time. That said NF were poor at shutting down Brisbane outside the box when it became clear they could actually put some shots in from distance. Braedyn Crowley looks the goods, makes smart runs behind the defenders and backs himself for a shot.

Didn't look like the roar first team system of play has filtered down to the NY team. I was of the opinion that that was one of the primary reasons for a league clubs owning accadomies.
Good to hear Brayden did well and stood out. Too much wasted and ignored youth in regional Queensland.
