David Davutovic has been heard on radio saying that he has heard that Brisbane would host the GF if they and CCM qualify. Would be hard to swallow if true.

Surely they'd just move it down the SFS ala 2008?

I would believe it.

Max of 25,000 in Sydney as opposed to sell out in Brisbane.

Don't know if Gallop would let it happen but I bet you the bean counters are asking for it.
After the success of WSW this year why would you not just let CCM host it for fucks sake. Guaranteed 20,000 in Bluetounge, & Gosford would ham it up with a live site outside & a carnival atmosphere for families. Would bring in a lot of people who have not been exposed to football on the coast yet & give them a sense of wehat its all about with the Mariners.

I agree it is an opportunity for CCM to engage more fans but money talks. Would love the GF at Suncorp but Brisbane just don't deserve it based on the whole season. Gallop will be [-o< that either WSW or Victory make it (probably both)so that this decision was 'never' made

Would they have the numbers to fill it?

At least in 08 it was CCM and Newcastle, both teams within an hour of Sydney

If they had Victory play away to Gold Coast two seasons ago, they'll have Brisbane go to the SFS.

2008 showed there was then enough casuals to fill the stadium. Grand Finals will always bring casuals out.
