Anyone else use it?

I got a Samsung 40" screen which is my PC monitor, which is bloody great, and I took up the offer for foxtel online. Which, despite my 17Mbps internet connection, isn't so great.

The quality isn't that much better than the average illegal online stream, and is far less reliable. Most recently it cut out on me with a few minutes to go of the Adelaide Brisbane semi, and by the time I gave up trying get it working again and opened up an online stream it was almost over and I'd missed Vidosic's goal.

Often when you try and start the channel you have to let it try and buffer many times, right now I've finally given up trying again and again and I'm on hold with Foxtel, being advertised to. I'm sure it'll come to nothing.

If you're considering buying a Samsung LED TV I say go for it (as an AV technician by trade, btw) but until Foxtel do better than what you can get for free I reccommend you stick with the streams.

Has anyone had a better experience with it?

Quality is shit, data requirements are massive.

Source: had a free month, cancelled it after we managed to watch 70gb of video in 5 days.

Nah if you get a Samsung with Smart TV you can get it straight into that.

I haven't had much trouble with the Xbox version, other than I've used it barely as much as I thought, so I'll probably be cancelling.

I'm certain it's not my connection's fault, 17Mbps in the Melbourne CBD. 3000 represent.

Seeing as higher quality illegal streams (2,000k for Russian Premier League games, looks better than SD) work fine I can tell the problem is with them.

Does this stream come from within Australia? If so then I'm not surprised. Even the FoxSports website for me is trash at times.

Compare that to the EPL on demand streams that I'm sure come from England (?). Before I moved to the NBN I was om about 1.7mbps max and it was flawless. And you're right about the russian streams - totally illegal but up to 4000 and 50fps of pure glory.

What are these Russian "streams"? Can someone explain what "lake" they link too? Also do they show NRL and A league?

Yeah my EPL on Demand back in the ADSL days was aight but auto adjusted, on NBN it's as crisp as fuck on my HD projector.
