It's a strange thing that has recently started on the forum, and it's silly, stop it. Because older injury prone guys do come cheap? -PB I didn't say injury prone. Like most professions, experienced guys don't come cheap. Being over the hill is a different story.

Pretty impressive to get this four months before talks concluded. The insider is an insider.

He certainly won't be at Leeds next season. He couldn't even get a gig out on loan.

although i have heard a lot of rumours that the experienced centre back they're bringing in is zwaansvijk from ccm Unemployed, 32, injury prone, couldn't get a game in a mid-table championship club... Would be a little worried if he was going onto marquee wages of any kind. you're talking about the club who paid $140k a season for marko jesic, and $250k a season for topor-stanley (in bad form) here. Edited by pv4: 17/4/2013 11:04:49 AM You do realize if it was not them it would be somee other average player at the club getting the wages because each club has to spend a certain amount of the cap. our club always says they struggle to fit everyone under the cap. i don't think we ever have issues meeting the minimum spending quota. my point was we are ridiculous when it comes to wages of certain players.

Patrick Kisnorbo's contract with Leeds United runs out at the end of the season. He has been on loan at Ipswich Town since January where he has only made the one appearance from the bench.
Insider Out! That would be good, a good homecoming back to Melbourne. Victory also need an experienced CB and Kissie re-teaming up with Ange, his coach earlier in his career with South Melbourne, as well as with the Young Socceroos, is quite realistic. i thought victory were trying to hold onto mullen?

I'd say it's more Sydney Fc's thing, Neill, Lovrek. Add in there were like 10 players over the age of 32 in their squad this year.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I'm guessing the unnamed club would be Sydney FC. Hopefully he is over all of his injury issues.

Center Back, so for squad requirement reasons the unnamed club would have to be Sydney or Perth. Perth have the more desperate need for a CB (especially with the rumours surrounding Thwaite's departure) but at 32 and not a local may not excite Edwards too much. Sydney may see him as a low cost alternative if Neil does not stay.
