Very impressed with how the Mariners' membership tally is tracking. Disappointed in Adelaide's but I like the ambitious target of 10k.

MH up to 4616. Decent jump and cracked the 4.6K mark.
I'd imagine that another boost will likely come next week when the new striker is announced. Even if its not a huge name marquee, hopefully it generates more interest.

Obviously not enough because the wank threads about their development in New Zealand outweighs the questioning of their existence. Wait till the next expansion and then kick em out. Its called the A-League for a Reason. Can't wait tbh. It would be a great day for Australian football.

I was reading on another forum that at the AU Fan Forum the other night somebody from the club let the room know that Adelaide now has more than 4600 members signed up. Can anybody here confirm this? Was anyone there?

My guess is that it's very close to 5000.

Adelaide + 507 Brisbane + 1000 Central Coast + 800 Heart + 1190 Newcastle + 500 Perth + 0 Sydney + 914 Victory + 1842 Wellington + 210 Western Sydney + 600 Overall + 7273 Some nice gains in there but one has to notice that Wellington's numbers stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not sounding any alarm bells yet, and I know they are going to be in the league for the next few years and hopefully longer. Although it is worth noting at the moment they are one of the teams that have been fighting the upward trend of the a-league since which has been well on the up since season 6. (The only other being Adelaide although they seem to be getting back on track) I genuinely do hope they can get their attendqnce back up to 11k like they used to, but they have now started to take games away from Wellington to other cities in NZ which has annoyied many Wellington fans which I have seen on here and twitter and I don't think it is wise to piss off your base. Taking games around the country also doesn't really give me confidence in their owner and his commitment to the club. Edited by tbitm: 9/9/2013 02:45:25 PM
