How so? Holger is directly responsible for the Socceroos' performances and therefore the national interest in football as a code for a large majority of Australia.

Being from Melbourne it may be a difficult concept to understand, but the pull that the ARU has will GPS high schools and high profile 'old boys' is quite significant.

Many big wigs in Australia's corporate sector are big rugby union fans. It's hard to describe, if anyone else from NSW or Queensland wants to help me out here, feel free :lol:
