Guessing that's for an engineering degree? I need to line one up hopefully for this summer

Vic Uni has just changed its online systems and no one knows how to use it :lol:

Degree is called Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, essentially just process/chemical engineering.

The job market is pretty awful for us at the moment too

Yeah I had a mate do Chem Eng at Newy Uni a couple of years ago and it took him some time to find a job. There's only so many jobs for soap makers out there :lol:

So I'm thinking of re enrolling into the same course I was doing but with a cert 4 at the same time , the rto i was with are hopeless 4 trainers in a year and yet still getting students

Expect to be finishing up my BA this semester and then it's on to my masters of teaching. So excited to finish. I will probably travel the world before I start working but.

I think my timetable comes out later today around 4/5pm

Finished my Bachelor of Nursing in February, Started my Bachelor of Dementia Care last week.

Life time student.

Start my second semester of a Bachelor of Sport Business at ACPE tomorrow.

Got my timetable out. Only at Uni on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Nice. I'm there for two hours, 9-11, on a Monday morning :shock: plus Tuesday, an hour on Wednesday and 4 hours on Thursday.

Bar Century Sundays ;)

Side note, my grandma died of Alzheimer's 2 years ago so I know how fucked up it is. But sometimes you just had to laugh at the things she said or did.

This is so key to coping with it. My grandmother has pretty insane dementia, and all you can do is laugh sometimes. It's terribly sad to see, particularly for my old man, but I alway just remember that the old her would have laughed at the new her.

It's definitely harder for the family then it is for the sufferer, they don't even know they have it.

Well Alzheimer's didn't actually kill my grandpa it was skin cancer, so when she died she still recognized our faces but not our names or relation to her and could speak fairly well. So I'm sort of glad that she didn't have to suffer through the later stages of it.

One of the crazier stories about her is that one morning at like 5 am mum got a call from the hospital saying that the police had picked my grandma up from the side of the road at the port of Brisbane. She had decided in the middle of the night to put her night gown and slippers on and go look at the ocean, (which is about 5 mins from her house by car) but she went the wrong way was was picked up I'm guessing 3 hrs walk away at the port :lol:

So it became pretty urgent to find a bed for her in a home at that point

Just spent a 2 hour lecture looking at titty drops on reddit. I regret nothing.

I swear you said somewhere on this forum that you were 15 or younger.

How did you guys end up choosing which science you want to do at uni? I have my heart set on doing Bachelor of Science but I don't know what to major in when I love physics, biology and chemistry equally.
