The Nine Entertainment Co has until 5pm today to lodge its final bid with CA and is expected to offer $400 million over five years to broadcast international cricket while Network Ten is likely to become the holder of rights to the Big Bash League for $100m.

That combined amount of $500m over five years is a sharp rise compared to the deal Nine had carved out over the previous seven years, from $45m to $80m a year.
