Lost 7-0 against Chile U20 this week
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

If we can keep Australia's 32-0 and Archie's 13 goal records intact after this campaign we can be proud.

Rather than laughing at them I think its fucking awesome for Tahiti. It's going to be a fucking embarrassment for Oceania though. Joke of a confederation.

Clearly I didn't follow it, how is it Tahiti got through ahead of NZ? Last year's OFC Nations Cup was held in the Solomon Islands which meant very high temperatures and extreme humidity (worse than anything Australia has had to endure in the middle east). For whatever absurd reason, matches were played at 11am, 12pm and 3pm. New Zealand's game plan was to score as quickly as possible then try to control the matches at a slow pace and avoid conceding (players can lose 4kg of fluid, reaction time slows and decision-making is affected). They could only execute this against Fiji in their opening group match. They won but conceded late against Papua New Guinea (2-1) and drew with Solomon Islands (1-1). NZ lost to New Caledonia (2-0) in the semis which was played at 3pm. New Caledonia are the only half-decent team in Oceania so they were able to stop NZ from scoring early. They're also managed by a French guy who played for Lyon, AS Monaco, Saint-Etienne and spent a little while managing Mali. A bit of simple homework and he was able to get the result. Tahiti scored early and defeated New Caledonia 1-0 in the final which can only be put down to superior acclimatisation. So, the reason Tahiti are about to waste their time in Brazil is because someone, somewhere decided it was OK to play in extreme and unhealthy conditions.

I think it's cool to hate them. Admittedly, some of their work is a bit cringe-worthy, but on the whole it's pretty funny.

A lot of it isn't laugh out loud kind of funny, but I find it rather amusing. It's about the A-League too, and has stuff/people I'm interested in on it, so I don't understand the hate.
