Hi D I reckon you should put the link in tht "articles" topic as well. That way we don't lose the article or a link to it after 3 or 6 montbs.
I have to admit I'm using the Articles topic to store data that I can easily refer back to even from my iphone.
Intersting topic soccer stats I have been looking for information on Lobanovsky of the Ukraine who with the mathamatician Zelentsov were pioneers in using statistics.
I have had a fasination with Lobanovsky was mentioned by Arok inhis book when he did a study of the 1986 World Cup.
Arok gathered information to see his methods as a model for Australia.
Part of Lobanovsky's theory was to "..use running to run the game..." players had to be supremely fit and tactically aware to use possesion as tool to move the opposition into positions on the field that created openings and scoring oppurtunities
If anyone has info on Lobanovskys training methodology and drills would appreciate it.
Also there is an App available called Soccer Meter that is simple to use get a parent to do it and provide you with simple match data.
