This is one of my first posts on 442. I am trying to get my head around potential pathways for junior players in NSW. My son is currently playing in the SAP league in U10s. I am interested in what his options are from u12s onwards in NSW. I am aware of the Premier League 1 and 2 leagues from U12s. However, what are the other options? Skillaroos? Football NSW Institute teams? State sides? Neither the FFA or Football NSW seem to make their pathways very clear on their websites and other publications. If anyone could let me know that would be great. Apologies if I am in the wrong forum.

I forgot to say welcome to the forum, Rod.:)

In this state, the Skilleroo option is available after SAP, then the NTC.

However, very few are selected in these very elite squads. Not all state players are necessarily selected for these squads. However, I believe NSW are ahead of the field and have spread the SAP into the clubs in rosters, that I believe your son is playing in.
