considering the grounds staff didnt leave the ground till 7am that morning cause of the game there the night before it was in good condition, i was on the pitch after the game and i must say it was in nice condition, its not the pitch fault if players fall over, its the players fault for not wearing the correct foot wear, i didnt see any league players fall over the night before,

Thats because the league players tore up the pitch the night before.

I honestly didnt know what footing the guys wore, but theyre semipros so they should have a combination of screw ins and studs in their gear bag.

yer like i was saying considering the league players tore it up the night before the pitch was in good condition, well i noticed a few of the lads had rugby league style 6 stud boots on, im not shore if they where the ones falling over or the other boys who had the normal studs on where,

its held there cause its one of the professional grounds around, in terms of brand new facities, etc etc, plus they know the ground would be in good condition,

Yer wat? bloody awful pitch on sunday. I was there. Me and my mate were commenting on how good the pitch 'looked' when we first arrived. 2m in and noone could keep their footing. looked like football on ice.

Nice, but why is it being held in Penrith if Wollongong & Sutherland are playing?

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article TeleChoice Premier League Championship Series Grand Final Review?
Wollongong FC has been crowned TeleChoice Premier League Champions for 2008 following a stellar display against Sutherland Sharks in the CUA Stadium, Penrith, Grand Final.

Have your say.

Neutral Ground...plus CUAs bid apparently appealed most to FNSW.

First time ive been to CUA...it was alright but id still prefer to see the new WSyd club out at ParraStad

CUA Stadium as been used as ther GF stadium (Netrual Venue) for a couple of years now.

Went to the GF and must congradulate FNSW for great afternoon for Fathers Day

It only cost me $12 for my family to attend (2 adult and 2 kids with the voucher out of the paper) and got a completmently bottle of wine to go home with. Great value for money.

Enjoyed the game, most goals were very good, the free kick was fantastic.

I think the main problem was it did get a bit colder in the second half (Kids with the flu is not popular the wife:lol: )

Hope to get to the new Youth league SFC V NWC game there on the Australia Day long weekend, if i'm not working.
