I know. I don't mind if it's cold when the season is appropriate but in Spring it should be 25C weather surely

Its been dry as a bone here in Sydney this winter, and it looks like the town will pay for it in kind from mother nature

Brisbane is susceptible to monsoonal weather, the worst weather ive ever experienced on the Australian mainland (tasmanian is pretty terrible in December), was in Brisbane with torrential downpours

Got quite cold all of a sudden last night in Brisbane. I love the cold but this was a bit of a shock to the system, been sniffling all day. Seems to have cleared up for now which is a good thing.

Nasty fire weather today. Hot, dry, extremely windy.

Western Sydney is literally burning to the ground.

I did not even realise that there was such a massive fire when I posted before. I must be in the only place in Sydney that can't see that smoke plume.

Having said that: the worst air quality I experienced was in Beijing. The air quality there is equivalent to smoking an entire shipment container of cigarettes

Top of 33 forecast in Wollongong today with some wind. Not good weather for the bush fires.

There is an amazing amount of smoke that settles in the valleys during the night that gets blown up over my town in the morning. The closest major fire to me is the one at Balmoral, 37km away, yet the smoke was so bad this morning that you only really had 15m visibility. Breathing outside is awful.

After bushfires and smoke dogged sydney all throughout october, it is now a non stop torrential downpour!

Would have been nice if it be dry for another week. I'd just finished digging up an old drain and was about ready to put in the new one. Now I assume the hole is full of water.
