MAURO Camoranesi wants to play A-League football.

The Argentine-born FIFA World Cup winner with Italy is reportedly keen to have stint in Australia after seeing the success of his ex-Azzurri and Juventus teammate Alessandro Del Piero at Sydney FC. But due to A-League clubs’ slow reaction to securing the midfielder it appears Camoranesi, 36, is now in the box seat to win a US Major League Soccer contract. Camoranesi has been in flying form for Argentine club Racing.
