DAMMMNIT!! Lucas is fucking startign again. Was hoping he would leave Stevie in CM, drop Lucas for Masch and leave Yossi at AMC. Fail.
Reina, Johnson, Insua, Carragher, Skrtel, Mascherano, Lucas, Benayoun, Kuyt, Gerrard, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Riera, Aurelio, Kyrgiakos, Babel, Degen, Dossena.
No real suprises otherwise.
Edit: Actually, there is a suprise. FOUR DEFENDERS on the bench!? WTF. At least Voronin isnt there.

Comedy in League One... Colchester vs Hartlepool, Kevin Lisbie missed a penalty in the 40th, then scored a penalty in the 45th, then scored another penalty in the 47th. Three penalties in 7 minutes of play!

fabregas makes it 4-0. Excellent game from Arsenal today Wigan looked poor and never really got into it, especially in the 2nd half Arsenal have looked like scoring everytime they have gone forward.
Bring on West Brom in the CC mid week.

Havnt seen Richard Garcia in a while. Shame. Garcia back in training after a long injury lay-off. Should be back in the squad in a few weeks.

Quinton Fortune has made it Doncaster 3-3 Ipswich. Looks like the Tractor Boys are still hunting for a first win. Meanwhile, George Boyd has scored in the 90th minute to make it Peterborough 3-2 Reading. And West Brom are a credibility 5-0 up at Boro, after Jerome Thomas's goal."
Jesus. Reading were 2-0 up at HT and lost. Hope Fed wasnt in goals!

Lucas Holman. I mean Lucas will be gone once aqulaini is back. Apparently hes really similar to Alonso and can put in ridiculous long passes. Perfect replacement.

Yes he is more attack minded but they will have similar roles.

Firstly because its boro, secondly it leads to more of a gap between the front two and the promotion spots. Ill take runner up any day of the week. just so long as we get promoted Automatically. Leeds found out the hardway of making the promotion spots twice in two years only to be knocked back twice in the finals. Edited by seriously: 20/9/2009 02:24:59 AM

Anything less than a 2 goal winning margin will be poor.

Leeds found out the hardway of making the promotion spots twice in two years only to be knocked back twice in the finals. Think you can credit the good early results for that attendance remaining so high as well. Easy to go to games when you're confident you're going to win. Not sure it would have been the case if you had 2 wins 2 draws and 3 defeats, if you know what I mean. Boro getting humped at home shouldn't be too much of a shock, central midfield is still piss poor, a team that goes at them will roll them. Speaking as a supporter of a club who've finished 3rd in 2 of our last 5 seasons in the CCC (the other three times we won the league!), I can confirm that failing to make the top two is hideous.
