Really they should have Henderson, Muntari and Cattermole in the midfield with Steed, Gyan and Richardson up top. Nah, Steed needs to be moved on - good player, but not one who's going to keep us in the top half of the EPL. Same with Elmohamedy - bags of pace but no brain. If you could combine the two into one player, well - he wouldn't be at Sunderland, that's for sure! Henderson needs to go out wide. Richardson needs to go wide or go home. We need to find Sessegnon's best position and then use him there. Cattermole needs to sort out his temper - but most of all we need a genuine partnership up front.

GOAL! Waitakere United 2-1 Auckland City - Sensational curved pass by Aaron SCOTT finds Dakota LUCAS in space - LUCAS tries a cheeky lob, SPOONLEY parries into the air and LUCAS follows through with a pinpoint header that leaves Ivan VICELICH stranded on the line!

Would he be worth trialling for a youth spot at the Nix?

It wouldn't be completely out of the question to be throwing Gyan in as lone striker, but putting Sessegnon in behind. Pushing Richardson and Henderson out wide left and right and having Muntari and Cattermole holding the midfield together. I don't mind watching Henderson play, he was the only real x-factor for Sunderland against us. I'd be interested to see how he'd go in a 'bigger' team.

This is the first game since May 09 that Cesc, RvP, Nasri and Arshavin have all started together.
In more good news it is Eboue's 10th appearence so he'll get a medal if we win the league :d

Wow, Arsenal are playing crap. Reminds me of Liverpool on the road.
Good chance for RVP though, should've done better.

Crikey. That was a bolt from the blue. Great run from Diaby and great ball from RVP, but horrible marking.
Would like to see that RVP offside call again though.

Don't know what Blackpool were doing defensively there  Diaby started that move and had no one tracking him all the way.

Definitely against the run of play that one. RVP wasn't off, it was in line. Can't really complain about the call.
Blackpool need to concentrate and not fall apart
