He made the call to go for a 20 meter run where have you seen that with any team anywhere even a league 1 goal keeper would no that is not a good idea. No other keeper would be left so exposed by his central pairing. Edited by afromanGT: 5/2/2013 04:32:32 PM Why has he been so bad ????? he has just come back from injury. And before injury looked ok And oh come on so liverpool have the worst ever defense paring.. ?? you see that crap happen every week in the prem league what you dont see is goal keepers acting as if they are defenders and chasing defenders out of the box. Did it get past skertel yes but if reina stayed in goals he could of chased the man city player down stopped him and probably no goal. Reina had no reason to leave his line. If he stays there, Skrtel forces Aguero wide and Pepe can cover a tame shot.
That said, 9/10 Pepe would have been ok doing what he did.

Disappointing that none of the three Blackpool lads called up to senior international matches got game time, though at least Charlie Adam did well so I'll pretend he still plays for the seasiders.

People shouldn't be complaining about Australias performance. USA is playing farkin shite in a 5-0-5 formation. No midfeild

Fuck hope Dembele is ok. Poor challenge by Cabeye but the ball was there to be won. Poor bugger though, nasty looking shot on his ankle/shin.
Hope he's not out for the next game, even though his performance hasn't been great.

Hard to begrudge the match-winner even though his miss was comical.

Jenks at CB in for Koscielny who was injured in the warm up. Will be interesting to see how he goes.
EDIT: On second thought it could be Sagna at CB with Jenks to RB.

Edited by sydneycroatia58: 10/2/2013 01:52:36 AM Don't you hate it when players get injured warming up? Don't you guys have anyone else available at CB or is it too late to change the line-up?

Arsene probably prefers Sagna at CB to Miquel. Only 6 subs for us. Hope Jenks has a blinder and puts pressure onto Sagna.

We've got Miquel on the bench, Arsene obviously not confident of putting him in there. I really wish commentators would stop going on about how 'concerned' Arsene looks. We would be 30 pts ahead in the title race and he'd still look concerned
