Must say been doing a little travel for work lately and you just cannot beat Melbourne's after 5pm atmosphere. For an often cold/wet city we really do the bar/lounge scene better than anywhere else I know...

Honestly, me and most of my friends in Sydney think Melbourne is a pretty cool place with good food and nightlife. Don't feel the need to kick dirt at Melbourners the way they do at us. Reeks of insecurity.

Sunlight at 4:30am in summer is just ridiculous, then practically dark at 6:45pm.
I want it! Had it as a kid, want it back but apparently it fades the curtains and the cows won't know what time to come in.

I love Melbourne, and have similar thoughts on the issue to Neanderthal... But I must admit that Melbourne is simply built around a filthy river. At least we have the world's most beautiful harbour ;)

oh yeah I haven't been living in Sunraysia for awhile. I went to boarding school in year 9 so it has been about 6 years since I lived there permanently. I do go home on breaks still. Anyway from the FIFA thread (thought it was more appropriate here) I played for Three colors.
