I find this whole situation very interesting and I applaud the clubs for doing what they are doing. FFA are saying that the other states have adopted this model but I can tell you that in my territory in the ACT, clubs are going broke, and the standard of football has dropped. Just because other states have implemented the 'NPL' model does not mean it is successful. At the end of the day there is no competitions without the clubs!!

FFA needs to realise that it will take something of a revelation for the FFV board to retain their positions due to the fact that the current version of the NPL_V is designed to wipe out the clubs - not work with them - this current board cannot be trusted

If we want to have an NPL model in VIC next year then it needs to be under a new board - the clubs will never work with the current one

Has that been the evidence from Queensland?

it's true NPL will kill alot of teams and a lot of players aged 24+
