What exactly does the article say? Bare in mind its the Telegraph so not exactly the most accurate paper when it comes to football. Could be legit or could be rugby thug trying a feeble attempt to destabilise football by going for the best player to play in the country  Tele posts an article about ADP in conflict, "Nah just a beat up" . SST posts a bunch of bullshit, "ZOMG MILLIGAN IS GOOOOOOOONE" What does ZOMG even mean?

I guess once the season is under way, 'IF' SFC are seeing success, playing good football AND getting the results, then this may be all long forgotten as everybody is signing and dancing, having a good ole time! ;) :p
If not, then the seeds of discontent were sown a while ago it seems and will be saplings on the verge of growing into trees! :p
As Frank Farina said on TWG's A-League Preview show tonight:
"Sydney FC don't have expectations - they have demands!"
Indeed!

Jurman lol, he will inadvertently sabotage the team and you can thank Farina for that. RIP Fwanky! Edited by paulc: 6/10/2013 05:09:46 PM

IF there's ANY substance.. it could be possible that it's similar to the 'Heskey at Jets' scenario? Farina was re-signed end of last season, after his 'audition' - an audition far from setting the world on-fire, one must say. Farina is a hot candidate behind GVE for amongst those who may be on the chopping block, before the season is out. Pignata and even Farina have said as much, with the pretty much 'Must make Top 6/Anything outside is unaccept failure' comments. And while other clubs and coaches say this, you do know that when SFC says it, they mean it! In all this mix is ADP - he's here one more season, but is enjoying his time and had a healthy stint last season. He's in the last season of his contract and perhaps last before the dreaded 'retirement', less, he 'feels so good' that he may still stay on for ANOTHER season? But that could WELL be 'conditional' on some things and 'negotiations' for that could be on-going now. The landscape certainly has to Improve/UPGRADE at SFC, in order to get the best value from ADP's time there. That's surrounding context wise, but also for ADP himself. ADP, in the end, is a winner, a champion even (Far more so than even a Heskey or Ono) - His standards are high, but while it's easy to see it may be hard for any A-League club to match, in SFC's case some of it is their own doing, no doubt. Already, last season and now on paper and in pre-season results, SFC are FAR FROM the Top 3 side they kind of 'need' to be and with ADP there, ever more so! They just seem set to be 'the foil' for other teams' success - be it as a big drawing Away team/ADP sideshow coming to town, or teams lining up to beat up on the starred studded ADP side. Including in their own town, with the 'much more successful', 'everyman's team', in the Wanderers! sydneyfc1987 wrote:Rumour in the Daily Telegraph = Must be true. This. Daily Terrorgraph. Page 60 of todays Sunday Telegraph reports a rumour that ADP has reached breaking point in his relationship with a very senior SFC official. Put that way it sounds like either the CEO or the chairman, either one of which would be bad.
ADP is supposed to be one of the nicest guys ever so its hard to believe he is the cause if the problem does exist...
Does anyone here know more?
